It has been my favorite album for nearly 35 years. Baerwald has enough integrity to not even try to lip sync well. These shows, like Solid Gold, that never let anyone play live were absolutely awful.

really? most sophomore albums stink, that's why they call them the sophomore jinx. bands have their whole lives to write the 1st album, then a year or two to do the sophomore effort. of course there are exceptions, and i'm with you about these guys. really amazing band.

Graham Parker was asked by Atlantic records to start writing with David+David but he declined. GP said he loved them but felt he would have to call his act David,David,and Graham!

One of the greatest ever albums. I am constantly lending my copy to people who have never heard of David Baerwald. I did a Karaoke version Heroes to comments of what is that great song-it wasn’t my singing I can tell you 🤣🤣

TERRIBLE PERFORMANCE OF A GREAT SONG!Where is Mick Jagger or Peter Wolf when you need them!I'll give the lip syncing a pass as it could just be a computer issue and I've never seen the actual performance, but these guys look like they are asleep!One of the greatest debut albums ever but they look like they are miserable!Maybe that's why they were a 1 and done band!A shame because it was a terrific cd,but you couldn't tell it from this performance!
