Great song and have two CDS of all their hits and music. David was such a good actor and so cute and talented. What great memories as a kid! I remember watching and singing along. Only to have my siblings to tell me to stop singing! lol No wonder I never made a career in singing! lol None the less, those where good times back then. Wouldn't mind going back in time for a visit. YES one of my favorites! I was too young to appreciate him when I originally watched the show although I did like the show. I recently discovered a retro TV channel and was thrilled to see him again and WOW! Love everything about him!

I've never quite understood Shirley Jone's assertion that "she was used to soft music and ballads". Even though she was born in 1934, modern pop music should have been well-known to her even if she didn't buy the records from the radio and from TV... I'm 40 and know Lady GaGa's songs. Wrong! David sang AND played guitar on some tracks..Shirley Jones sang on most tracks as well. No matter its great Jazz pop/rock and stands on its own well. My teen daughter has some CD's and loves the show. I will always listen to this stuff along with the Beach Boys and so many other artist who got me through my Childhood.

One of their better songs. I always like watching Shirley Jones during these performances. She does very convincing background singing which makes the group believable. The others in the group (besides David Cassidy, of course) don't really sell the songs especially well. Young Tracy is especially bad, although she gets a pass because of her age.

I hate to shatter your perceptions termsofusepolice but Bonaduce never played the bass! All of the cast were just actors and not musicians. The only one that actually contributed to the music was David Cassidy when he sang. All of the recorded music was done by studio session musicians.
