David cares and gracious to his fans. They don’t want to disappoint them and was willing to make up for his shortcomings. What a class act.

Beau was such a precious baby boy . He's so cute when Sue's holding him in her lap with his pacifier in his mouth and he reaches his hand out to try taking the microphone.

Answered my own question. Oct 1st 1991. Wow he looks great even then.

I have to make it clear David was huge in England ahead of the 1973 Wembley concerts. You could not move without seeing his picture, posters, hearing his music on the very few radio stations we had then or on tv. It all took off in the summer of 1971 and got bigger and bigger. Sorry buddy, but that is a fact from someone who was there.

True, I find it so hard to believe that she had never heard of David Cassidy. No reason to downplay him. If he has a huge ego, he has...but why say she had never heard of him.

How did she not hear about his naked lunch box interview on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine, it was a hot topic back in the day. All the adults were talking about it when I was a kid. Even before the internet word got around.

Exactly! Like I said in another comment on this video, David was a household name here in America, but he was HUGE in the UK! EVERYONE in the music/entertainment industry knew him or knew of him. David brought her into the limelight and still, I felt she was disrespectful to him for saying that. Well, I still believe David was one of the most precious, loving and sincere men that ever lived on this earth. He was such a sensitive, gentle man. I am hoping his son Beau has those genes from him and continues his dad's legacy. I'll love you forever sweet David 💙 ❤

@@cocoaorange1 He was invested in getting his album played on local radio and get people out to the concerts. He was doing radio interviews between shows and flying to the next city almost every day to do them prior to each concert. This is how it’s done. It’s an enormous drain on the artist to promote their record. At this time he had a new deal on Scotty Brothers and was not getting much support other than doing the interviews set up by the management company. He and the tour manager (Victor Bridgers) worked their butts off on that States tour doing radio and TV a interviews everyday and then doing shows every night.

Davids wife wrote some of the songs on the Pirate Movie soundtrack.

Not at all like modern celebrities who peg their fans as being off for loving them. David had a completely different dynamic with fans and always approached them with respect for caring so much for him. He realized that's what supported his career. He also recognized it was a love affair. 🌹

i,m not sure what Sue is like but haven't warmed to her. Of course she had to know who he was. She used her own name and then he was gone started using Cassiy again. Shameful. He was worked relentlessly when he was younger and i think if he wasn't we wouldn't have lost him for those silent years and he would probably have coped with things a lot better and still been with us.

Since I was a small child in the 70's, his heyday wss before my time, but I will always like his performances in the PF. I just started watching Man Undercover on YT. Not sure my family watched the show back in the day, but it seems interesting. Besides the catchy PF tunes, not a big fan of his singing. He did seem like a nice person, too bad his life went downhill in so many ways.

His wife is dismissive of him. Not very supportive.

David and his wife are divorced now, and his son is in his 20's. Unfortunately, his son looks just like the wife and not like David. Have to say that David looks and sounds great here, and I find it hard to believe that his wife says she didn't know who he was, etc.
