The last person I would want to see as Prime minister is David Cameron. He is blind to the problems this country has and had.He did not see Brexit coming. He is one of the many politicians who thinks that people outside London are not worth bothering about.

The UK has not had a Prime Minister in the Lords since Lord Salisbury, although I suppose it is still within the constitution to have one. Salisbury also could not see what was coming. The Boer War caused widespread outrage in the UK although I don't think it had anything like the impact on the economy that Brexit has. And then he stepped down and installed his nephew as Prime Minister. How very Tory!

I wonder if he is also related to Johnny Cameron, who broke the Royal Bank of Scotland. That would be about right for Dodgy Dave and Greensill. Just goes to show that the gene pool of the 10000 families which run the UK is pretty small.

A Cameron comeback is certainly on the cards. People underestimate him - he did make the huge mistake of agreeing to the Brexit referendum, but he probably felt he had no choice, given the huge pressure on him. As a politician he is canny and clever, and he has charisma and stature, something that Starmer will never have. That said, he won't replace Sunak until after the election as there is now no genuine hope of recovering the situation for the Tories. As for Gove, I can never see him as leader. I predict that there will be an election in November and Labour will win, though certainly not by a landside, though they will have a majority of 30 to 40 seats.

Tories are that thick they'll vote for the failed ex prime minister Cameron for Sunaks job. What a slap in the face that would be for Sunak. 🤗😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

The Tories should do a rebrand, why not change their name to The Liberal undems 2. Most of the Tories who are left are liberals anyway, apart from Mogg, but he is just a saddo Tory.
