Brilliant, artistic, creative and multitalented - When I first saw this is did blow my mind officially. It's graphically violent in some parts but there are so gems within Bowie's dialogue IMHO that's for sure.

Thats a fact. I keep returning to this, however I might hate violence, all because of Bowie, and the intellectual text the writers wrote - which he took to such excellence

You have done it to me again David, just when I think I am becoming more whole (so to speak), you come along and open my mind to universal depth and much broader spectrums I might never have contemplated, so I thank you once again for opening my eyes. God Bless you my friend.

As a member of the generation that grew up with the "Tales from the Crypt" and "Tales from the Cryptkeeper", this show was only the next logical step. And the preceding movie, of course, which pointed me in the direction of the Vampire Chronicles. Not to mention that Bowie had had a profound influence on my cultural development since I was about 3 and first watched The Snowman and Labyrinth.

Oh yes, these are just intros/outros to the real series subject matter. And these episodes and intros/outros were directed by amazing directors. EDITED: I found a list of directors at Wikipedia; Tony Scott is one of the most famous.

Thank you SO much for sharing this. It's so impossible to find! I'm finding it difficult to watch, on many levels, but I'm appreciating it, because I"m seeing so many direct homages to events and previous art in Bowie's life. Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence (the jail cell/shaving bit), "They Say Jump" (which we all know is about his brother Terry's suicide....) ....EDITED to add: WHOA from The Hunger film and The Man Who Fell To Earth....and Hours.... can you guys share more references you're seeing?

Really speaks to me! But really is rather hard to accept right now2 is the thought that we are still ourselves in the afterlife. Is there some sort of awareness there that allows us to truly accept that?
