Me not a die hard fan but always liked something from his 1970s albums . Lot easier with the Internet to see all the transitions that were going on with him + his style music today ,all just a click away .

No matter how many times I listen to this live version of “Station To Station”, there’s always absolutely HAUNTING about the whole performance: from the first train-like sounds and Adrian Belew’s mesmerizing guitar solo till Bowie’s charisma on stage, it’s a MASTERPIECE

But even he admits, aside from the paranoid side effects- that was,if more clear headed, the purest representation of who ,& what, Bowie is. Still ,to this day. He,for himself- to maintain the constant perfectionist work ethic, the workahol8c,the creative genius in all genres- his ego had to fly,ThinWhiteDuke style, without the white,at exhausting, beyond earthing atmospheric levels.I'd love to have been his lady during the time,74-82,but as a baby blue,i would have been constantly,on that high with him...💙💙💙💙🎶🎶💙💙 LOVE YOU ABOVE&BEYOND,ETERNALLY,INFINITY....LOVE - baby blue 💙🎶💙 + 🦴🤍💫

Absolute fuckin monster of a song, and the best version - 13 mins! It has so many styles in one song. Electro intro, metal guitar, then a reggae beat and singalong pop. It's not stylised so won't go out of fashion. It has the best build up and climax in a song ever.

Adrian Belew's legendary pyrotechnic guitar intro that just blew my lights out back in 78 when i saw the greatest show ive ever seen. There were some tiny little things that my friend told me if i tried one it would enhance the show greatly. My gosh, it was like an elevator ride to the moon..! Just before Belew's mindbending solo, i was just hanging on by my fingertips as the roar of that steam locomotive had me flashing in and out of reality, then the guitar took it even more out there. What a song it is and that guitar intro from Belew was ahead of its time. I survived my greatest concert ever, only just mind you!

Shimron Elit Official Your routine doesn't have to be 'technical' to be considered great or revolutionary for Jimi's standard (for this particular lapse in time). The sixties were mediocre even though most of the bands you love members' went to prestiged art schools. I love King Crimson but I don't need Fripp's approach to playing to impress me.

was at New Jersey show, fkn amazing! A year later he popped up on keys for Iggy at Manchester Apollo, he walked down with me and girlfriend from the Britannia, then bought the round in the Apsley! Hero? Beyond and Beyond, Rest in peace, Spaceboy!

Lucky bastard. Never knew they both were with Todd. I'm a drummer and know what I like. Cozy was a force of nature, rock solid yet he swung like a freight train! He first got my attention on Jeff Beck Group recordings, Then with Blackmore's Rainbow (witnessed 3 different tours) and once with Jefferson Starship. Seemed he was the go to guy for alot of established world class rock bands trying to reestablish themselves in the 80s, like Emerson, Lake and Powell. Synthesizer whizz kid Kassim had enormous studio cred as well. I wanna say I saw him with The Tubes but it may have been (also Rundgren cohort) Roger Powell.
