David Bowie Plays With the Press - Uncut Brit Awards Press Conference (1996)
On 19 February 1996, David Bowie entertained a room of journalists backstage at the Brit Awards, where the artist had been honoured with an award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. Over a mischievous few minutes, Bowie fielded questions about the break up of Take That, the connection between Oasis and his late colleague Marc Bolan, where and when he learned to walk in stilettos, who designed his outfit, the future of British music in the era of Britpop, and whether he had anything left to contribute to the music world.

Love it, outplaying the press at their own game.
The world misses this brilliant, beautiful man so badly. It all went to hell after Bowie left the planet.

Apparently, during or just after Michael Jackson's rehearsal, Bowie turned to (Pet Shop Boys) Neil Tennant and remarked: "Repellant" - he wasn't alone of course; Jarvis Cocker famously crashed the stage and disrupted proceedings.
David used to come into our Coffee shop in Windsor years ago, he was always pleasant and down to earth, our Gaggia packed up one day and he rolled his sleeves up, got up a step ladder and sorted it out.

I don’t think so. He quit drugs and alcohol long before this and he quit smoking too few years later.

Dude, if you think someone is on drugs cus their hands are shaking, I'd love to introduce you to a proper druggie. Sarcasm aside, tremors in the hands are a lot more common then you might think. Most people get it when they're nervous.
