I always loved Black Tie White Noise. It is a seriously underrated Bowie album. The bass in the album is great. I love the sax too.

Not sure if it was underrated at the time, but somehow, along the way, I completely missed it. So, yes!!! UNDERRATED!!!! Some really pretty songs....... And that perfect hair....I hate him forever!!!!

Start times ... Pallas Athena at 0:00; Nite Flights at 3:03; Black Tie at 7:13; Jump They Say at 11:36. This version of Jump They Say is very cool!

Really awesome performances, especially "Black Tie White Noise". Powerful song. I also particularly like the performance of "Jump They Say", as it feels a bit angrier.

Looks to have been performed on the Outside tour in either 95 or 96. So that would explain the angrier vibe for sure.

His saxophone playing is so underrated imo. It's weird and impressionistic and nothing like anyone else and I love it.

total class - everything about him, the way he moves and delivers. there is another great live version of this, Letterman - literally the same time/tour.

On Night flights he really imitates Scott Walker. That's fascinating. I think it was the Bowie I preferred. A heck of an album

Man, I wanna love Black Tie White Noise too. I mean, there are some great songs on it, but I feel there's just more filler on there
