without a piano or some harmonic instrument like guitar vibes etc after 10 minutes FORGET IT ,,how you can just leave out one ENTIRE ELEMENT OF MUSIC is beyond me ,,

I think this is about being young and partially funky Richie, I don't think they have the same musical standards that you have!

Richie...I'm a guitarist, but you have had an enormous effect on me for so long now, I just want to thank you for the inspiration for so many years. Some of my favourite records are the early Liebman stuff, Scofield live (obviously) and Abercrombie and Zbigniev's albums - I could go on. All I have to do is listen to any of those albums and I think "got to be somehow as good as those guys!". That's not happening anytime soon but that's the kind of effect that you and many others of that period have had on a guitarist in Melbourne, Australia so thanks!
