I like DBT. I like ebow, but its rare to hear ebow. I don't know why (I don't play): maybe its infinite sustain makes it limiting to single string melodies? I first heard it by Stuart Adamson on the introduction to Big Country songs like The Storm, Lost Patrol, Restless Natives, Margo's Theme, Eiledon, One In A Million & I Am A Small Republic: seemed very effective for "Celtic rock"! But it's very rare to hear. I'd like to hear more. Ponty may have had a similar infinite sustain effect on some of his electric violin playing ("Plastic Idols"?) but I can't remember now
