Eargasm, every single time I listen to this. For years now. I feel blessed, thank you. Don't ever stop making music please.
So many artists in electronic music, so few are musicians, even fewer are great musicians. And so that guy, David August, with that modern symphony, and all his life as a musician, set up a new level for electonic musicians !

+ikbenbnop I know a lot of people that consumers of mainstream trash, but as soon as i introduced them to the underground side, they have quit their old ways. And i would like more and more people to discover this side, who already have an inclination to good taste but are just not aware, and not wish it stays a secret so only i can enjoy it. That was my point.

This clearly is the most impressive thing I've seen in electro music. The level of mastery of this man is unbelievable. I can confidently say that David August is amongst the greatest musical genius of our century.

Bit late here but couldn’t agree more - there’s something very unique about both Jaar and August’s sounds which are absolutely unmatched in their genius’s. I think the moment it became impossible to put either of them, respectively, into one genre, is the moment they became their own genre. Jaar being one genre and August another. Absolutely speechless, after many years of their music, at how incredible both are.

I come back to this often and have watched it a myriad of times, but this time I was particularly caught by the section at 44:39 onwards with the reverbing harps; so haunting and moving, makesme think of the past and grief.
There is an amazing underground of musicians in the world today , and there are people selling downloads and getting airplay, the 2 differ....all the artists have to do is say NO....No to the big labels , No to commercialisation of there art and NO to mgmt who can break you , you have already broken.,.. we love you and we show up when you go live....that's the deal... the rest is selling your soul....

if there's someone whom god owes everything, it's definitely david august
