blackidna whether or not you're a shipper, you have to acknowledge mulder and scully loved each other deeply, at least by the second or third season. this interview shows, toward the end, when they've relaxed, some of that chemistry, and that they are two actors who deeply care about one another. that was the x files magic.

David just has a very dry sense of humour and dead-pan delivery. Gillian's much more of a giggly, smiley person in general.

Haha this happened almost 13 years ago but I still can say that if David is having a bad day or feeling like "whatever", Gillian has the power of making him laugh or at leat smile and that´s one of the things I love the most about them.💖💖

I love her laugh! She's got such a great, kooky personality, yet is also a genius actress. I admire Gillian so much.

this clip was the most beautiful I've ever seen Gillian. When pregnant she glowed and the colors she wore were lovely. Her beauty is legendary. More so than the old Hollywood stars we consider beauties (or equal to) I'd say more.

You know David Duchovny has the same mannerisms Mulder has and Gillian Anderson is a catalyst to him just like Scully was except she's obviously more livelier.

Agreed she is one of the most amazingly good looking women in the entertainment realm. Dana Scully and Fox Mulder have the greatest chemistry in modern day motion pictures- television history. Even off the set they have something special. The way they look at each other gives you the good'ol fashion warm and fuzzy feeling inside, that I can only hope to have in my life.

David looks so uncomfortable and Gillian is so professional to try to hold the interview together

David, David... shouldn't refer to wanting to pick her up as funny LOL he's such a tease. But you know what is the most fascinating? Imagine yourself sitting across from anyone in your life that you've known for 15 years... would you be like this with them. Smiling, shy, flirtatious? WTH is it with these two? It's like they're stuck in an endless time loop. They feel YOUNG when around each other. It's beautiful

This is so cute. I love them for so many years now!!! They just are funny and beautiful and everything. Gillian is blushing for him. I love it!!

Wow. They are really attracted to each other. Honestly, you can cut the tension with a plastic spoon. I think it is interesting, to say the least. I think later on in life, it will be inevitable, and they will be the most adorable old couple ever. But... that just may be the romantic in me. All joking aside, it is clear here that they like each other, a lot. And the thing I like about it most is that there is so much respect for each other and that part really warms my heart.

I love them soo much!!! i love the way he says that he doesn´t remmember much cause it was 15 years ago but then he describes till the last inch the outcome of the reading. I think Gillian was flirting a bit with DD (love her)and he kinda gets it and doesn´t look at her but enjoys what´s she´s saying. And she´s naming her baby FOX!!!! that made my day!!!! I think the REAL x file in this history is why in the world they didn´t end up together as lovers ?? Anyway i will love them always...

well she looked that good when the show started they just dressed her up as the proper FBI agent. The truth is, she started off beautiful and has aged really well, still beautiful.

At times yes like any brother and sister, husband and wife, co-worker and co-worker forced to spend that much time together under such strenuous circumstances. Do we hate each other now? I think during the X Files years they were fed up of each other. It was never about disliking each other. They have said so many times. And I get the impression David was high maintenance and a little bit of a jerk during that time.

I read they worked 18 hours a day on X Files. You'd want to punch your own mother of you had to spend that much time with her day in day out so it's no wonder that annoyed each other. But that doesn't mean they don't like each other. That definitely gave a chemistry and you can tell they do get along.

+Jellislee they did get tired of each other in the late 90's, but if you watch their interviews and interactions you can tell they're in a much better place now. They've both literally come out and said they're much closer now than they were then. Gillian has even said that "David will always be one of her best friends." It's wonderful.

The problem with Duchovny is that Mulder and Duchovny have very similar personalities, which Duchovny hates so much, that's why he tried so desperately to not be typecasted..but look at him, you see Gillian Anderson and you can tell she is not Dana Scully, With Duchovny you feel he is playing Mulder!.

I don't mean this to be disrespectful, cause I love both david and Gillian, but David is not telling the truth when he says he doesn't remeber trying to pick up Gillian . During the first part of his story he's recalling the event (looking to the right) When he says he doesn't remember he switches to looking down and to the left. Body language experts will tell you this is a clear give away when someone is lying. Again, no disrespect meant, just what I noticed.

I'm currently watching season one on DVD, and I've noticed a LOT of white nylons/tights on Scully. Glad they got rid of those, and the football-sized shoulder pads in her coat!

Actually the thing i respect most about Duchovny is that he doesn't have that conceited, showbiz facade that soo many celebrities have which you can spot a mile off usually...he's just completely grounded 100% bullshit free.
