Great video Sir. I went to school in that library. (North Street). I am a Daventry boy (Child of the so-called Birmingham overspill) now a 17th Century armour specialist in French Exile. Best wishes to you. 🏆🇬🇧
Very educational and original. You sir, never fail to amaze me with your videos. Simply by subscribing by your channel I have learned almost as much if not more by my first year in English school. Keep on the good work!
Funny and educative as always! I laughed a lot on "pink buildings"!
Charming and Thought provoking as always. It makes me want to visit Daventry. Thank you Tim and Necati

Brilliant in every way! Prof Wilson came to my old school and delivered a real barnstorming speech. The text is here: ratcliffe-college.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Heads-Annual-Report-2016.pdf
educational and charming.
The tape department at the BBC radio station wiped most of what was broadcast and lost
Hi Tim, enjoyed the film very much, especially having been a resident of Daventry for many years. However, at 4:45 in the film you mention a building being the former Dun Cow coaching inn. The Dun Cow is still alive and kicking! But it is a further 30 yards down the slope across the road on Brook St on the opposite side. If I can find out the actual name of that former inn in Sheaf St, I will let you know. Regards Steve

yes. Many thanks!! I will correct this! I think you are right: with an arch like that, this must also have been an inn.

zontulfilmsltd Guys, after a visit to the Daventry Museum I have the name of the coaching inn mentioned above. It was originally The Crown. I will send you the details. Kind Regards Steve
