My favorite part of this is that the spirit of Aqua Teen Hunger Force is in the interview. In a 10-minute block of time we learned almost nothing substantive about the show and its creation process, and were instead entertained by wholly off-topic shenanigans almost the whole time.

Too bad ATHF tanked when they did the gimmick of changing the name of the show every season. I still think Season 4 is my favorite. The newest seasons are at the bottom. Don't know if the premise has just worn too thin, or if the writing is just not that good anymore.

Dana is my favorite voice actor of all time. Good VA, but also just a good person to be a fan of. Once, when I was a kid, I was too broke to afford the autographs he was signing, so I didn't actually come up to ask for one. I just wanted to talk to him. He gave me more than just a free autographed poster, he drew he own little gizgasm on grandma and everything. He was just...great.

I think that's what I read while researching, but yeah. Knowing that he died of a heart attack makes me feel like it's true. And if so, I hope all Adult Swim employees aren't treated like this. Hard to tell whether Dana & Dave are/were real friends or not, or what their personal relationship is. They're clearly very friendly and collegiate (or at least they were at this point in time, over a decade ago) but more than that is difficult to intuit. Am intrigued.

If they're going to go double with every aspect of the sequel, they're going to have to have twice the false bomb threats linked to their advertising.

Shake is easily my favorite character on the show and the source of so much comedy and he wouldn't be nearly as funny without Dana Snyder

REALLY bothers me the show was canceled without warning to the creators with 90% of S11 already finished; just cuz the owner of A.S. felt like “ it ran it’s course“😒So disrespectful to the longest airing show of the network… Even more odd the audio for that season is “ ATHF will never get canceled, ATHF will live forever “ 😔 Colossal mistake.

great when on script. rather dull when left to ad lib. they look bored beyond belief

I honestly don't like the show. The premise has potential, but the episodes go nowhere. Little animation, barley any plots, some parts are unfunny. Family Guy and Futurama improves these elements and offers more to the audience. That is, in comparison.

Some parts are unfunny? What does that even mean? Unfunny? The limited animation and simple plots are the style of humor for the show. That’s the intention. It’s not a good comparison to put it up next to two sitcom shows.
