@@stumpycrumpy4885 every album post absolution had a rough reaction but over time I appreciate them more due to fact that Muse like to experiment with their sound so much. You never know which direction they will take and that's what keeps them fresh and unique imo

So fucking underrated, one of my favorite songs

When Dave said "I can't compare this to anything. This is only Muse!" I couldn't agree more and it's why they are my favourite band of all time. They are their own genre and their music is unmatched to anything anyone's ever done before! Amazing reaction as always! Two more songs I would suggest are Aftermath and Exogenesis:Symphony part 3, but the music videos to both of those songs. Aftermath has never been played live and ExoGen3 only once, but their music videos are absolutely amazing and true tear jerkers

the only thing I can think of that I can compare this to is other muse songs, mainly united states if eurasia for the last part

Matt originally didn’t want to be the band’s singer. Early on, they kept looking for a singer but couldn’t find anyone. Matt finally agreed and here we are now!

Special thanks to Pink Floyd, Queen, Radiohead, and Tarantino, etc, for the influences. Absolutely amazing fucking song.

Lol Yes I immediately think of the beginning of Kill Bill when I listen to this song. Bang bang he shot me down. Beautiful song by Muse.

true but in the SHowbix era he used Fender more often. He uses Fender more for studio recording but occasionally he uses it live, mainly for The Globalist. He also recently bought Jeff Buckley's tele, which he recorded a new version of Guiding Light for his solo album Cryosleep.

Unreal, no one makes music like this!

This is my first time watching a live clip of the Globalist. They really switch it up with Chris on both bass and guitar, Matt on guitar and piano, and Dom on drums and (briefly) vocals. Very cool. Thanks for posting!

'Uniquely Muse' very true, Dave. This caps the Drones album, and is followed by an a cappella vocal to close it out. 'Reapers' and 'Dead Inside' (which you reacted to) are also from this album.

Only thing missing is the incredible set design from the smaller venues on this song. Where the mid piece would rotate in the middle of the crowd like an LP playing and big translucent screens would surround it while a massive drone flew among the crowd

I really enjoy that song live. They really have talent on another level. Every track is good. Which is unbelievable for a band that has been around for over 20 years!

I swear you could hand Matt a damp washcloth and a piece of crumpled newspaper and he'd perform some rock opera with it.

When i was a kid an old guy used to walk past our house a couple of times a day walking his dog and always whistling to himself. He was the kindest, friendliest and most gentle person you could ever wish to know. He had a real impact on my life and he will never know that sadly. He made me a better person just from his wonderful serene whistling. This song reminds me of him everytime. I miss that guy so much.

I love the nod to Elgar's Nimrod, probably the most moving classical piece of music ever written.

So good! I've never seen this performance before, so I was both enjoying the spectacle as well as the reaction. :D

Really like these muse reactions. This one was really good. Cool to se someone appreciating this epic muse song the globalist. Hey i got a muse request. How about microcuts from Xx origin of symmetry remix... they remixed the entire album, upgraded the drums and added certian recording effects and re-released origin. I really like microcuts on it cuz instead of the song starting out with guitar lead it starts out with harpsichord which sounds really gothic and creepy.

Best commentary on a music video I’ve seen so far..except the queen comparison..I see what he was saying but totally different context here. Queen was part of the garbage system..I’m hoping and it looks like these guys are different.

way over produced...no breathy fog while whistling

this song is INSANE good .. but my fav slow song from MUSE is and allways will be Unintended... or the HIT that made ALOT of people came Screaming ... to muse Concerts ... that was there BIG power ballade... before the last one on the lastet album ... they dont have many ballades but yeah ... HOPE to know .. what Dave and u think of that 1 one day :)
