Hi. I'm not just saying this..., I understand you. Listening to these tunes... Baretta, Taxi, Kojak, Starsky and Hutch, Banacek, Hill Street Blues, and for the UK.., Tales Of The Unexpected, The Two Ronnie's, Rising Damp, Butterfly's, and too many more to remember. I think it brings us the comfort and stability of our childhood when all was good and easy. Family was all present, alive and in one warm full house. I too listen to these tunes once in a while and the emotions flow. You're not the only one.

Love this version of the song and wished it was available like this on Spotify. Shows like this actually made me want to be a cop and wanting to help and Robert Blake's portrayal of someone who really wanted to make a difference and cared for the down and out and basically common man and woman now matter race or gender. Thanks for bringing back some memories. I do wish they would release all the seasons of the show on DVD and Blue-Ray.

A-Plus montage. Fantastic memories of watching Baretta back in the 70s. Looking at his different costumes I have to say he reminds me a little of Frank Serpico. Wonder if that was an influence on the show...

@@TV-yp1xp Yes. I was about to make a comment about how when I was a kid me and my sister liked the show Toma. Then when we were watching Baretta for the first time we were like "This is like Toma!" I looked it up and discovered the same thing that you said, that Baretta was a re-tool of Toma. The funny thing is when I was reading about Toma I was confused because I thought there was also a movie that inspired the Toma tv show. I've been trying figure out what movie I was thinking of. I'm glad I saw these comments because it was Serpico that I couldn't recall.
