I'm imagining a parallel universe where this was the first track on a 1993 follow-up to Violator (instead of Songs of Faith and Devotion). Trying to put myself in the mind of teenage me, buying a CD from Tower Records, putting on headphones...and hearing this modern artifact at that time. 😮
