It's fascinating how she triggers him by saying "Dave's meat" and he needs his manager's approval to respond! Dave is so honest with his emotions and all that he had been through. Then he asks the young lady if she is going to be there tonight! What a dream to have Dave Gahan flirt with you! I love this interview!

@@MartinWhiteley : Definitely. It's not within the last 10-11 years. From the interview, I think you got the date down pat and that it was for Dave's first solo album, not his second. Thank-you for that. I certainly knew not within the past 10-11 years and post Dave getting clean, but that was about it.

Dave is Pluto heavy in his natal chart. Of course he has to reflect on....’darker side’ things. Pluto heavy myself. I’d think most DM fans have some heavy Pluto placements in their natal charts too.

That was really cool. It's hard to believe it's been the better part of two decades ago Dave had a 16 year old kid. Seems like yesterday Paper Monsters came out, but it's been a while already.

Teehee, his accent was a mess. :) There's no one cuter than Dave Gahan. There just isn't. Everything about him endears me to the core.

Yes it was at the Sofitel in Montreal as he was touring for Paper Monsters. It was the sane day as his concert at the Metropolis :)

There is a few good songs on that album. I like "Shine" and "The Dead Of Night". But the singles they choosed from that album. Its like WTF? "Dream On" can be the lamest of all Depeche Mode singles. I never liked that song. "I Feel Loved" is also weak. "Freelove" is beautiful i must confess.

@@grimlund few good songs yeah - could have made a good EP - really they lost their form for good singles as such after ultra . Only a handful particularly precious are worthy . Not that singles are that important these days I regard Heaven and HTF as two of the recent worse ones
