It was a very general statement. And its technically true so how can we blaim him for saying that ? Also this streamer doesnt know his star wars 100%. He supposely think that Dave Filoni created the nightsisters when technically Nightsisters are products of Legends. Ive known about night sisters since the early 90s. They were in the Legends 1994 novel The Courtship of Princess Leia. And they were created by Dave Wolverton not Dave Filoni.

I never understood why so many seemingly intelligent people couldn’t see through phony Filoni. “Cowboy Filoni” was so lame. It’s obvious dude is a male feminist weasel.

Filoni is not to be trusted. I think he is a jealous person that is very worried someone will come up with a story better than his stories. So he goes about sabotaging projects to make his stories look good. Not like Headland's show was ever gonna be good. But he told her to do some really dumb stuff.

George tried to share his ideas showing up at a writers meeting but they ushered him out saying we got this pops so Disney wasn't interested in his ideas. George still is passionate about his creation so won't say anything bad but seems he has no say in the show anymore.

I can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t love the new Star Wars. Pre-Disney Star Wars: Bad Guys = psychopathic megalomaniacs who don’t believe in good or evil. Only believe in power. Good Guys = anyone who opposes them, especially the Jedi. Disney Star Wars, Acolyte: Good guys: lesbian space witches who believe good and evil are irrelevant and only power matters. Dave Filoni is not who most fans think he is. He really is a real world equivalent of a Sith Lord who infiltrates, manipulates, hijacks, and perverts the works of others. Saw this post a few days ago, before that other long one. I appreciate the like at that you read it by the way. It meant alot to me that you took the time to read it despite the length. I won't count this as breaking the radio silence since I commented on this topic before writing that novel. Here's what I said in that previous post: The night sisters didn't go to the level or boundaries that this Leslye Headland creation has. There's a reason Filoni said, "sure, you can have witches. But you can make your own coven, don't screw over or associate them with what Clone Wars was doing." He didn't say that word for word, but there's a reason he suggest to Leslye other covens could exist. The concept of Dathomir witches embraced that while Star Wars is a space opera, it does dabble it's foot with fantasy in space, it's no Star Trek. Dathomir witches make invisibily potions, conjure weapons, magically make sleeper agents. It was made clear they draw from what SW universe considers Magic and it is not the force. Also, they never claimed to be good, basically diplomatic and in for themselves. They'll give Jedi information if it helps the covens goals. But they primarily help from the shadows and actively assist the Sith. There is no gray unless one of their order is an outlier (case in point Asajj Ventress). The concept might be burned for live action, but I hope once Leslye and and KK are gone, people will still give the witches of Dathomir a chance. They are strong women done right, an amazonian tribe mentality that's not full of themselves. Not these jaded, damaged, "victim of the system" force altering monstrorouseties that Leslye put to paper instead of talking to a therapist. There's a reason witches in Star Wars didn't make major headlines as an issue till KK and Leslye got their hands on them. ...those were my thoughts to this topic. I understand if you don't agree with them. I just can't take second-hand accounts of Filoni from KK and Leslye with anything more than a grain of salt. Smartest thing Filoni could ever do at this point is break radio silence (and possibly his contract) and say firsthand what he feels about the state of Starwars and it's direction and walk away from Lucas Film till KK and Leslye burn it to the ground without having him as a scapegoat to drag through the mud. If he doesn't do it, Star Wars will crash and no one will trust him as an option to pick up the pieces.

Been watching Star Wars since the age of 5 when Han Solo shot Greedo first in 1977 in the theaters. The fandom shit bricks after Phantom Menace, it wasn't just Jar Jar Binks, it was also the Nemodians who lots of people thought was racist becasue the way they talked sounded like broken asian English which is WHY they sound different in The Acolyte than in Phantom Menace. Phantom Menace wasn't even the first time the fandom was split. It goes all the way back to Return of the Jedi which a lot of the fans felt changed the feeling of Star Wars to be more of a movie made for kids, which the first two movies did NOT feel like. Even Darth Vader was neuteured in Return, he didn't talk shit or kill anyone like he did in Empire. This shit goes back decades do your homework. No conspiracies.

And like that, Filloni just lost his reputation... Kathleen Kennedy HAS to go...

@@xoler2167 I can think of two theories on what happened. It’s either Disney did this to him or it’s Kathleen that did this to him. Some would say it could be his wife but I can’t speak for that. Like… the fact that floni somehow helped with that episode kinda prove that the EU fans from years back that warns about him and angry about him and laugh on him provides some sort of intellectual counter argument that makes all of us feel like we’re that stupid… So yeah they did have him compromised and they pretty much changed him into this puppet.

He was always terrible! I hated his Clone Wars since 2008. Lucas should've kept working with Genndy Tartakovsky.

The witches of Dathomir was also a bad idea.

"Not all witches are Nightsisters" doesn't mean he created this coven. It's probably that Ms. Headland was interested in using the Nightsisters, came to him and he told her this, therefore giving her bigger artistic freedom to create her own coven of witches. It's still up to her that she didn't use that potential to create something awsome.

I'm not a Filoni fan. I know he knows a lot about the Lucas' Universe since he worked with him, but I think he is also a sort of a yes man willing to do anything Kennedy asks for in exchange of being allowed to push his own characters.

This is Headland doing whatever after getting FELONI's information. There is a difference between info and implementation. Feloni is just getting his paycheck and trying to get ok from boss so that he can produce what he can within his alloted budget, and selected ideas.
