Dave Edmunds & Mickey Gee could mix it with the greatest in History, That's why you'd see them working with Chuck,Carl,Jerry Lee, the Everlys,Dion,Johnny Cash, members of the Beatles,Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, Eagles etc. Most serious R;N;R fans know the great Dave Edmunds but why Mickey Gee is not a household name is beyond me.

I might not know much about this type of music but it is definitely grassroots rock at its best and Dave Edmunds does it justice that would like to see in music today. I'm amazed that someone who doesn't come from America can play it with the same heart that rivals those who come from the culture.

When will we see Mr Edmunds and Mr John Fogerty on the same stage? Their musical styles match, I dont know about their personalities. Almost the same age,(almost saturday night) and many mutual friends with great music to offer. I would pay a lot of money to see them on the same stage.

A great Dave Edmonds version of the old Bill Monroe classic, Dave is the greatest rock'n'roll talent GB has ever produced, one who loves the authentic sound of rhythm and blues, but that button flogger Cliff gets all the plaudits, he aint fit to clean Dave's shoes.
