Sounds rediculous? Well that's cause it is. Awkward? Sure. Annoying? Yep. Fake? No more than any other talk show host. The difference is their real laugh isn't that different from their fake one's. What exactly do you think his job is here? this is an interview w/ a great comedian...his job is to highlight Dave & set up his stories/bits, which he does a great job of. You might want to think about it & appreciate the multitude of fun topics Jimmy decided to discuss, unlike Letterman, who spent 10min asking about the 50mil.

Was Jimmy nervous? Or is he always this fake? You have fucking Dave Chappelle sitting there! You don't even have to say anything ... you can at least have your questions sorted out. Anyone in the world would've done a better job at this interview.

Fallon was nervous, that's all. He's a huge Chapelle fan. Plus, Jimmy's a laugher, he just naturally giggles & laughs at all kinds of stuff, which I LOVE abt him by the way.

i saw dave chappelle in a gas station in ohio once and no one recognized him except the clerks who said he came there all the time and i was like damn i gotta say something so i was really nervous and i said "are you who i think… i am??" and he just looked at me like wtf and then said no and walked away.

Why does jimmy try so hard to react to things? Hes seriously overdoing it, he should try to be natural and just listen to what his guest is saying and then say something back. and not do this whole exploding with laughter thing at the end of every sentence and then making awkward comments like 'thats even worse!' when no, its not Jimmy, its a cool thing that that fake dave chappelee was funny and had you been reading daves face as he was telling you the story you could have seen how he felt about it and said the correct thing instad of veering wildly off in the weong direction with your input..

this is his "naturally". thats my favorite part about him, i don't know if you've seen any of his other work aside from this show, but he's always like this. I think its great because he's just being himself

I am getting such a strong vibe from Dave. I'm not quite sure what it is exactly. But to me I feel like some of his true spirit is gone.. Almost like he is trying to tell us something but he can't... I grew up watching him, Idk I just sense something odd. It almost hurts me watching him in this. It's like a wave of grief or depression almost similar to grieving when a loved one passes.

Glad to see Dave getting back in front of the cameras. He is a great comedian and writer. I hope he gets another show. I applaud him for having the courage to do what he felt he had to do.
