I can honestly say Dave Attell has been that rapid fire and quick witted for the last 20 years....

This is how it's done. Many top comics say Dave is one of the best out there. His performance and writing is second to none.

@@Prof_Tickles92 He still does the Dangerfield shtick where he comes up with one liners , except it's more modern and self deprecating. Dave Attell has crafted his own brand for sure. It's continuous, he doesn't stop and his transition is perfect.

He’s one of the greatest comics ever. Brilliant and hilarious.

He has sort of a Rodney Dangerfield, one joke after another rhythm. He's very funny.

My favorite Dave Attell joke is, "The laziest guy ever had to be the guy who invented the straw. Who does this [picks up glass and puts it to his mouth] and says, 'Oh, there's gotta be a better way!'?"

Dave is one of the best. He just brings you into his weird world and you're happy to be there.

This material is from what I contend is one of the best comedy albums ever. Skanks for the Memories is as good as it gets. Being a great comedian is about writing great material, but also about having a particular voice or style. Dave is blessed with the ability to tell his finely tuned, well written jokes like he's just shootin' the shit with you and making it up as he goes. I'm not sure how it's possible, but I think Dave Attell is highly underrated.

The way he orders the crowd by acting like reading it and also really reading it is awesome.

I've heard of this guy for years but never seen his act. He's great.

I loved his Comedy Central show "Late Night with Dave Attell". He would go to different towns, do a comedy show, and then hit late night spots, and party with the hard core partiers. Mad respect for hanging with the hard cores.

Dave have had a few TV shows. Him not having a new special is more on his part. If he wanted to put out an hour, there's nothing stopping him. But if you catch him on the road or in NYC, he's always putting out new material.

Its beyond me that Dave Attell doesnt do more voiced character work. He has a godly voice, similar to H. Jon Benjamin(voice of archer) and an extreme comedic talent.

You are so correct. I wonder if he auditions for any roles and just doesnt get them. he does have the voice for it. I love H. Jon Benjamin voice Especially his older stuff from Home Movies and Dr katz. Dave was in 2 episodes of Dr Katz from what imbd says. Now I have to find the episodes Cholesterol and Trash Day and listen lol

Can't wait to see Dave in Charlotte tomorrow night. Saw him in New York a few years back and I died from laughter. One of the all time greats.

A few friends and I saw Dave at The Stardome down in Birmingham Alabama back in the 2000's We all laughed so hard and so much our jaws and stomacns were hurting. He was really funny. And he really can shut down a heckler too.

John Snow if you expect a curve ball then it's going to land on your father. Honestly his jokes are pretty consistent ... they have the same subject matters: masturbation, military service, midgets, porn, animals, his dad, whores, alcohol, and strange terrible accidents. And anything that allows him to do an inbreeding country folk joke so he can make the he haw heee sound.
