A lot of people embellish their resume to get a job. Watching the show he seems to know what he’s talking about which is what matters. On top of that the duo is entertaining and is educating to watch.

When Cody and Dave were on the show, it was the best.. Cody made the show. He was so knowledgeable and just an amazing character as a person. I really miss this.. I would watch this with my parents every time it came on. To this Day me and my mom go on hikes and we talk about what cody had to say. Dave may have bullshitted some stuff about his career but he was 10x more entertaining than everyone else theyve tried to replace him with

Yeah, I miss Dave and Cody. They were my favorites, I think. I quit watching (say) 3 season-ish. A little of that Joe & Hippie Dude #2, who I liked. But, I really didn't like the DO IT AS FAST AS YOU CAN motto. Cody's slow and steady is what I liked.

This was probably their best episode. They hardly argued in this one albeit when they do argue, it's a lot more civil than the other pairings. Dave was just smiles all around in this one.

The OGs of dual survival. I wish they’d do another series.

You can tell Cody really liked Dave as his partner compared to Joe, he is so much more relaxed and enjoys joking around with Dave. You can really see the shift in Codys personality when Dave gets kicked off the show and replaced by Joe, it was like he held on to that anger and feeling of betrayal, and simply couldnt let it go, so he couldnt fully trust and relax around Joe which led to their fall out and Cody leaving the show all together. But thats just my opinion.

I think also Dave was kinda more accepting of Cody's ways and tried to adapt to work with him, it's important to work together as a team to accomplish the mission mindset, whereas Joe was a bit more stubborn about implementing military tactics (the infamous "force protection" lol) and wanted his own way, Cody also has a bit of an edge sometimes so then they gonna collide when both wanna force their choice on each other

The fact that Cody could and can somehow manage to be barefoot in subfreezing climate with maybe the aid of socks at most still blows my mind to this day. David was also a fountain of knowledge with his background. I could care less about credentials they we're an entertaining pair to watch.

No kidding. Dave got ramrodded on the credentials. He didn't lie. He was told to exaggerate to help him get the job, but he did everything there. It's just how he phrased it -- from what I remember. I've done 1000x worse on some interviews, because I had had to have a job.

I agree, and i doubt the credentials was really the reason he got canned. For some reason they were looking to get rid of him, and that allowed the producers to can him and save face. Nobody cares about credentials, especially tv people. They care about ratings and advertising dollars and nothing else

Read this......... Cody was a little whiny brat! Cody Lundin’s lawsuit against Discovery for allegedly defaming Lundin in its reality series “Dual Survival” was voted off the island earlier this month when a district court in Arizona granted Discovery’s motion for summary judgment. Lundin’s claims arose from an episode titled “Journey’s End to a New Beginning” which depicted Lundin walking off the program after clashing with the show’s co-host Joe Teti. Lundin alleged the episode advanced the “false narrative” of him “walking off the show in disgrace as a burned-out, irrational, incompetent and mentally ill has-been.” In granting Discovery’s motion, District Judge Roslyn O. Silver noted that although “Dual Survival” is hardly a “reality program,” it did not misrepresent Lundin’s behavior. Silver found “Lundin was happy to participate in the charade as long as he was portrayed in the manner he preferred.” What charade you ask? Silver cited several examples in the case record that reflect “Dual Survival” is far more scripted than “real.” For instance, Silver wrote “Dual Survival” often portrayed the hosts as having little access to food and water. In reality, Silver found the hosts enjoyed breakfast and dinner at resorts, hotels, and lodges, and also receive catered lunches on location. In addition, Silver noted multiple scenes in which “wild” animals were placed on set to be “hunted” by Lundin and Teti.

These two were the best out of all of them on duel survival

I’m Lebanese and in south Lebanon we have lemongrass a plant similar to the one Cody rubbed on him and we rub lemongrass on us when we’re out camping,riding horses, etc and I swear it’s a miracle.

It's simple because the show was staged and they followed regulations and stipulations that discovery had planned for them they simply weren't allowed to survive how you would in the real wild for the sake of the show Les stroud explains all of this in his survivor man commentaries on YT.

Looks to me like TRT, no calorie counting, eat big, lift big. More emphasis on the 3 big compound movements i.e bench, deadlift and squat. Like a powerlifter.
