I grew up watching Steve Young on Sunday’s. Every Sunday. He was apart of the family basically.. really cool to see his daughters playing football and him encouraging her. Thanks for all the memories Steve.

As a Menlo alum and huge 49ers fan this makes me happy.
An all time great NFL player and somehow an even better guy.
Steve is my favorite player of all time. I love this guy and wear the #8 Niners jersey every Niners game. Seeing him as a great father doesn’t surprise me. He really is one of heck of a man. Thank you Steve for all that you’ve done and continue to do.

I just had this convo with a former NFL LB this week. Most Former Players do not push their kids into the game. They know the damage it does to the body.
