Datsun 240Z Project ; We put a 280Z hood on our Project Car Episode 13
Yes my client decided that he wanted to switch to the 280Z hood with the vents to make the 240Z a little more Custom. In this video we test fit the hood. Then strip it, put it on the car and do a little Hammer & Dolly Work. Then we do some finish body work and coat the panel, along with the Cowl Vent, with House Of Kolor Epoxt Primer and FeatherFill G2. After it dries we install the Hood & Cowl to reveal what the car will look like.

Troy i noticed you applied body filler to the bare metal hood prior to epoxy. Is that your process? What grit sand paper did you use to sand the body filler down? Did you mix Plastic Honey with the body filler?

I apply my filler directly to the metal. That is how I was taught. Sanding is usually done with 80 grit followed by 180 grit. Plastic honey is added to the filler before the hardener. good luck my friend.
