You're right about the women from small towns. I've met a few in the DR, and they be some of the most feminine, down to earth women on top of being pretty. All they do is work and/or go to school, spend time with family, and go home. I'm going to see one this weekend.

Dating sites are bad news no matter where you go. I tried them off and on for about 2yrs right her in the US. By the time I stopped competely, there were nothing left on there but straight up hookers and prostitutes. Stay away from the dating sites when traveling. Also when you in DR, always assume that any girl you deal with is going to ask for money because most of the girls are not able to get jobs and there's no uncle Sam to subsidize them. Also, Dominican men don't simp. This situation in particular was due to this gentlemen not doing his research before traveling.
