In the US it is not uncommon for a girl graduating high school having a double-digit body count. My Filipina wife saved herself for marriage. It totally blew my mind. Like Rekay stated, it was totally incomprehensible to me as a Western man. It was not something I was seeking or even on my mind, but it was certainly a very precious gift that she gave to me. It spoke volumes about her character and self-discipline ... and removed any doubts in my mind about committing to her. I trust her completely, which was not the case with Western women. There really is not a hard and fast rule to that unless you are stuck on it. The gal I married was engaged before and he was her first. She was 24 and I was 49. It fell through with him because she did not like his character when he drank, and he liked to drink. I married her and she has really been a wonderful gal, totally faithful going on 15 years now, and we have two daughters. I helped her to become a nurse here. The girl I’m dating For almost 1 year now is 20 years old (I’m 24). Based on what I know about the Philippine’s view on contraception, condoms, birth control, etc; if a chick doesn’t have a kid I would totally believe her if she said she was a virgin or had a super low body count because if she was out there having sex the probability of getting pregnant is high as hell lol.

This is my 2nd comment - I am glad to hear the advice to guys who are recreational dating to leave the virgins alone. 👍🏻 Guys who are just trying to put another notch in their belt make me angry in a way that is visceral. 🤬 In the area of the Philippines where I spend my time we keep an eye out for guys like that.
