This hits when high

The first song on this playlist reminds me of a girl I very well think may have been the love of my life. Her name is Haven, and I think she felt the same way for me, but I cant tell. She is so sweet and kind...I moved to the other side of the country and decided not to ask her out. Mainly because I didn't know her long enough to ask her to move with me to the East Coast. But it was more than that, I actively kept her at arms length... I didn't want to create false hope...I thought I was doing the sensible thing...I was thinking of her well-being...and now I can't stop thinking about her. It's been almost a year and a half and I don't know what to do. Some kind words, or heartfelt advice would be appreciated.

I cant say much since I can only partially relate. I never had a date and I am in grad school. I kept people interested in me away since I thought that it was a bad idea. I was scared to date since I didnt know what to expect, and when it felt more close, I didnt want to pursue it because I didnt want to make things weird and I didnt want it to get in the way of school since I it takes up so much of my time. But to you, I would say just tell the person what you feel. Something may or may not come out of it. Even if nothing comes out of it, at least they will know and you can be relieved of not keeping it to yourself. Fair warning though, that it seems like a lot of time has passed (not sure if you have talked with her since then), so maybe she might have moved on. Just want you to be prepared for that if that is how they feel. If so, then as my uncle told me, "if you did it once, then you can do it again" meaning that with enough effort, you might be able to find someone else who might also be able to make you just as happy. Idk just some thoughts. I hope that things turn out great for you!
