Dates Muffins
Ingredients:
All purpose flour -3/4 cup (90g)
Sugar-50g
Baking powder 3/4 teaspoon
Salt-1/8 teaspoon
Egg-1 (at room temperature)
Milk-1/4 cup (60 ml)
Oil-1/4 cup (60 ml)
Dates-1/4 cup ( 50g) finely chopped
Vanilla essence -1/2 teaspoon
Method:
Whisk egg and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
Add milk, oil and vanilla essence and mix until combined.
Sift and add flour, baking powder and salt into the egg mixture.
Mix until just combined.
Line a muffin tray with muffin sheets.
Fill the sheets ( This recipe makes 6 muffins.)
Preheat the oven at 180C for 10 minutes.
Bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
