There are a lot of videos on the interpretation of the houses in D-10 but yours is actually spot-on as far as my experience is concerned. I have an Aires Ascendant in D-10. This is particularly in relation to my 2nd house (I had many jobs and learny many skills throughout my career; Taurus on the 2nd), 3rd house (jobs involving computers and communications like promoting the use of end-user computing amongst top management in the 90s), 4th house (after exchange between Moon in the 3rd and Mercury in the 4th, I actually have Moon and Venus the two digbali planets in the 4th - my colleagues try to make my working place a very comfortable place to work in, even my users for my systems analyst work they try not to be too demanding!!!!), 5th house (my subordinates are not under my control - my 5th house has Jupiter in krako bhava naiysh with Rahu and Sun in own sign aspected by natural malefics Saturn and Ketu in the 11th) and the 11th house (my fame and gains like knowledge are mostly in the field of astrology because of the Saturn+Ketu combination here in the 11th - I have been writing about jyotish on and off about 14 years). As usual, you always rise to the occasion when making videos on vedic astrology. You are an exceptional astrologer. I have one question. Who is the karaka for D-10? It should either be Mercury (it is the main karaka of the 10th house in Rasi chart) ) or Saturn (by some astrologers thinking which I think they learnt it from their gurus). Then either of them having connection with D-10 Lagna via placement there (whichever planet is the karaka) would be bad for career isn't it based on the write-up you wrote in your facebook bog? And also this principle is it true it covers only placements and not aspects? The reason why i ask is that in your this video here you say Mercury in D-10 Lagna is very good and Saturn in 7th in D-10 is very good because it aspects the Lagna.

Saturn is Deblitated aa per kal purush chart on the Lagna in D10. Hence its may not give a profession that gives you too much of happiness or satisfaction. But in 7h it’s exalted and has directional strength.. one gets huge respect and happiness at work. 7h is 4th of 4th house and 10th of 10th... and hence very good placement for Saturn. Saturn is the Karka for career.

Because I have an Aires Lagna in D10, what you say about the kaal purush chart exactly mirrors generally how I felt in my career. I am always aspiring to do greater things so resulting in change of jobs frequently (from systems analysts to schools, from schools to Ministry of Education HQ, across Ministries to Ministry of Finance then back to schools again, then went back to private sector and then to Ministry of Defence, back to private sector and then to government linked organisations) but in actual fact the appointments that I have held generally I do get the respect from my bosses and colleagues. Currently I am staying at home to accompany my father (he wants to see my presence around him) so I have more time to study jyotish.

As matter of fact in D1, my Saturn is with Moon and Ketu in the 7th house and Venus is in the 1st house aspecting the 7th house stellium of planets. Venus and Rahu is in the yogic point in my Cancer Ascendant in Pushya which is ruled by Saturn. Saturn is retrogade. This is a yoga for sainthood. All my planets are also forming a kala amrita yoga with Moon the Backup Yogi and Saturn the Yogi planet (both together signifying Pushya) placed at the Ketu end of the serpent just past Ketu - signifying the start of a spiritual journey. So my changing of career in D-10 amounted to trying to experience all structures and walks of life and then leave it. Like a sanyasi and understanding the interconnectedness of life and giving up everything.

Sanjay Rath just came up with a video to reiterate that planets running from Ketu to Rahu in sign order is a Kaala Sarpa Yoga and not Kaala Amrita Yoga. The Yoga is defined by the node occurring at the end of the chain in sign order. So if Rahu HEADS the chain of planets in sign order, then it is a Kaala Sarpa Yoga otherwise it is a Kaala Amrita Yoga. So mine is a Kaala Sarpa Yoga BUT the chain is broken.........why? Saturn is retrogade and goes to the 6th besides beung in the 7th (Nadi principle). 6th house Saturn exchanges sign with 8th house Jupiter. So Jupiter finally lands in 6th house in its own sign. It is the only planet that is out of the chain!!! So I am glad to say I manage to make a good contribution in terms of work value in all the places I work besides having the respect of my bosses and colleagues. This characteristic of mine ensures that I generated a lot of good agami karma and also the other point is no Kaala Sarpa Yoga for me.

I guess I am so doomed. 10L of Rashi Chart -> Pisces , Lagna Lord of D10 -> Pisces, 10L of D10 -> Sagittarius. And Jupiter goes to 12H in both Rashi and D-10. No wonder I can never find a job. ;(
