I was surrounded by people. But was the loneliest I’ve ever been in my life. Just came across an old playlist. Brought me right back. I’m lucky enough to have been in love with my wife way back then.

This song came on as I flipped through old pictures of me and my passed great grandfather. This song will forever have a sad feeling now, more than it already did.

This song is just attacking your heart. So incredibly true. And the instrumentals at the last chorus just blasts my heart so strongly, I have to keep my breath and then release it at the ned of the song. Just perfect.

Lucas Diehl sorry, i know it's 3 years old comment but i kinda tingled... what "kind" of music? Music is music, that's all. Good music is good, bad one is bad. KISS was considered weird even on the glam era, Linkin Park was a "garbage" metal band, but their music are good. I'm not mad or anything about any things, just tried to remind you to stop listen to the "kind" and start listen to the "music". Hope I'm not making wrong impressions :) good day~

Every time I hear Dashboard I feel like i'm 14/15 again. It reminds me of my last year in middle school/and my early years in highschool. Reminds me of my friends I was close with. Going to my friend's band practices in his basement, spilling pepsi on his mom's white rug, my teenage crushs, running around with my 2 best friends at night, trampolines, laying in the grass, summer, and laying around just listening to music like this.

Listening to this after so long, still one of my favorites! Carpe diem ❤

Listening this excellent song during Quarentena 2020, the video reminds me this times when the civilization is struggling the worst Pandemic of the new Century. Everything pass by and our lives are too short, the world continues spinning and changing without us, the part when all the buildings disappear and then the forest started to gained it's territory again without humans is like the things are currently happening in many parts of the world several animals are taking the cities since all of us are hide and trying to protect our life from this Virus.

The lead singer has such big lovely eyes

that moment when the hummingbird's wings stopped for a bit... beautiful. dashboard confessional is one of the best there is, artistically speaking (and commercial-wise).

Oh the nostalgia. I used to hear this song on a music channel called The Tube back in 2006. This is one of the first bands I listened to and eventually fell in love with rock music.
