Daryle would never be mistaken for one of those Nashville pretty boys, who are a dime a dozen and all sound alike. He was just a truly great traditional country singer, unpretentious and completely authentic. God rest his soul!

just really sad this superman off a country singer is no longer with ( god rest his soul) i listen to daryles music daily just brilliant , im from england in a small village called east runton on the north norfolk coast . rip daryle " the one and only " singletary

That ain't no bubblegum country crap! That's good old country! Opened for this guy a bunch! He doesn't put on much of a show but but they keep the show moving right on, and His drummer was driving that train! ! He was a great singer and a nice guy!
