I absolutely loved Darts. Still do. This gem is often on my playlists. They had such a presence on stage. This is high energy, quality stuff and they look like they're having a total blast. Thing is, they "arrived" right in the middle of the Punk/New Wave (and Disco) era, yet did very well. Pure class and Rita Ray, sexy and sassy as they come. I'm gay and _I_ fancy her! 😉😉 I'm sure I read, a while back, that she's still going strong and living in Brighton. Sad that there's so little information around about her!

This is the first one I recall that Rita sang lead on, and I was glad they let her shine for once; she is so attractive and a great singer. I was 12 when this came out; would never have guessed back then that I would marry a boy from New York City! :)

She is stunning, I had the hots for her when I was 19-20 at the time of their hits, now I am 59 and still have the hots for her! ha

Mad Den is back & is still as crazy as ever!!! Got my tickets booked for DARTS - Sat 12 July, The 100 Club, Oxford St, LONDON. DARTS tickets were all sold out before both 100 Club gigs last Nov/Dec. Book now 2 avoid disappointment. If U can't get a ticket, then catch them the day later at the Americana Festival nr Notts. DARTS R closing the show. Last year DARTS hung around after the gig 2 sign autographs and have photo's taken. That's one reason why we still love 'em.

Love this :) I use to love Darts when I was a kid had a big crush on Bob Fish. Was wondering when and where this version was filmed as it appears to be around the same time as "Get it while you can" ?. Both are excellent quality & I was wondering if it was part of a single broadcast :) ....

I saw another clip of the same song, but slightly different. The Black Chick out the front in that one was beautiful as well as sexy, she had long hair, and the music was just a little smoother. Could've sworn it was also "The Darts". Anyone know? Did they re-release it and do another clip in the mid-80's??

This rips The Ad Libs version, which is a good version btw. This rocks way more and was really how it was intended to sound. Rita's voice is full with just enough rasp. The Chuck Berry guitar solo comes in right after the bridge and it takes it to another excitement level and leads right back to the chorus taking the song into a fade. Awesome!

Can't agree GS. Rita Ray's vocals are far superior. Just cos something's older doesn't make it better. That's why Darts made this song their own.

er, you do look a bit like Vila. Not a bad thing as his character was at least the fourth most interesting thing in Blake's 7. After Servalan, Dayna and Zen. Maybe 5th because Oric was pretty good too........ cracking tracks by the way....
