That’s a fantastic question! I don’t think there’s enough context from the writers tbh 😂 but my only guess is that since Bane had died nearly 1000 years prior to Episode IV, maybe they couldn’t find his body to resurrect? Also Bane died in a complex way where his essence was “thrown into the void” or something so maybe that’s why hahaha. Regardless, I agree, why wouldn’t they just resurrect him

In rebels,Maul actually fears Vader as Vader is decending to confront them and admits he can't take him on his own ( real Maul, Cannon)..

The same Maul is shown fighting and winning against Ahsoka who's shown minutes later dueling a non holding back Vader. "Maul is a super powerful threat. Because he has been trained for years. Vader WON this battle in "canon", far as I'm concerned. The Mouse and their delusions don't get to tell me what I can and can't consider real.
