(4K, 2023, Right-Hand Side) Dartford to London Charing Cross train journey aboard a Southeastern (British Rail) Class 707 Desiro City EMU, operating the 11:05 service via Sidcup on Saturday 25th November 2023. Shows the complete journey, including each of the stops. A stunning late Autumn morning for a train ride but very cold indeed! This was an extremely noisy and busy service, being a Saturday morning. Aside from being my first time on a Southeastern Class 707 EMU, it was also the first time I have ever been in Charing Cross Station, despite having walked past it many times! It seems to be the more popular station for services to the Southeast compared to London Victoria - it's certainly more central. It was also my first time passing through both London Bridge and Waterloo East, especially given I have ventured from the main London Waterloo station so many times. Approaching the City of London from this direction does offer some great views! Calling at:
