Darren & Buster enjoy playing sticks at Malomir Lake, near Yambol.

Buster was approximately 4 months old when we rescued him from the land at the back of our 2nd house. He had been dumped by an old Bulgarian lady with a walking stick. No wonder he grew up with a dislike of people with walking sticks. Sadly we lost him 2 years ago , he is greatly missed though as was a big part of our lives and a very special furry friend.

The first house we looked at was in Malomir. It wasn't right for us but it was a lovely area.

Yes it's fairly flat and very rural in Yambol - we were a few villages from Malomir but could walk from our village through the fields to this lake so it wasn't so far.
