For those that might not know, the term 'Perpetual' is something they introduced in the Horus Heresy novels. Perpetuals are people who essentially cannot die. They can have their physical form destroyed, but come back through unknown means with all their memory intact. The Primarch Vulkan is the most powerful known Perpetual, though there are many others.

I mean, the Emperor's also a perpetual, it's part of why the Golden Throne hasn't just killed him, despite his mortal wounding at the end of the Heresy, and putting far more effort than he used to in holding the Webway Gate closed and powering the Astranomicon. Vulkan's the *second* most powerful perpetual, as he isn't a psyker like his old man.

The emperor is the most powerful known perpetual. The golden throne killing his mortal form is not issue to him. If that throne goes off the astronomicon turns off leaving rest of imperium to darkness and the webway that Magnus compromised on terra reopens for demons to run rampant on Imperiums heart.

@@sylvan-the-necromancer Malacado was also a perpetual as well, but the Golden Throne was too much for him also. The Emperor's maintaining the GT was more akin to his pyshic might in combination with his status as a perpetual. Its why Magnus was meant to help and also maintain the Golden Throne.

Not any more. Only the Emperor is the last perpetual. The rest died off. “Maybe” not Vulcan

Psyker's "beloved" -Happy to see Guiliman returning -Fears the greatest betrayal of astertes -lives rent free in warp, saved that psyker's ass multiple times. The emperor was there... right next to us and protected him from falling to the madness...

The psyker’s “Beloved” is a fragment of the Emperor himself stuck in his mind. Acting as a sort of guide for him. The Emperor has great plans for that single Psyker. Perhaps he could be. A grey knight? No wait… only children are capable of being turned into a marine…

I don’t, because if there were heretic astartes in Atoma they would have been seen by now if they were Death Guard (which would be the obvious choice since we fight nurgle centric guard, and yet to my knowledge there’s no voice lines that talk about them) and with being traitors in an INQUISITOR’S PERSONAL SHIP, this screams Alpha Legion. You don’t want to fight the Alpha Legion.

The Impossible Fortress is where Tzeench himself is said to reside, with its impossible maze, twisting corridors, and infinite eyes.

Starting to think Morrow might be a perpetual. He's much older than he looks, he may not be "human", and he's survived countless battles (if rumors are true).

@@scratthesquirrel5242 And even though Morrow is a trusted agent of an Inquisitor, not even Inquisitors have access to the real good rejuvenating treatments, otherwise Ciaphas Cain would have lived waaaaay longer since her Inquisitor girlfriend did pay for his treatment, and yet she was unable to get the good stuff. If the Hero of the Imperium couldn’t get the best treatment, I doubt Morrow would have gotten a better one.
