He also had a few passive powers that work all the time, only reason i remenber that is because Fury Embrace was the best and also close the circle of getting something from each Rider, mercy and crossblade where Strife, Harverster is obvious one of the gazillion scythes that Death had on Darksiders 2 , he must have run out of storage, and Fury Embrace gives that eternal question of what to give to the Horseman so angry that others called him War, a way to solve ANY situation with smashing, she really know and care for her brother, brings a tear to the eye, as he reap and tear with Fury Embrace is the way to turn anger (tales tell of some capable of having so much that they ignore fatal wounds) into Wrath and everyone who screw War is Doomed (also i find very cool that the seal get smashed dont only release War full Horseman powers without no one even in the counsel take it back , even after Abbadon defeat War was not full power yet, but also bring Death,Strife and Fury also full power, no wonder they still did not even speak about what would that game look like, i mean, what could possible go against the 4 beings with the entire carrer since after the job interview of killing their entire race whas to end everything and everyone after the final battle of all the realms also know as apocalipse and END it all, War reap hell armies a new one and took pigeon hunting as a hobby with a arm and a leg tied to his back and most annoying leash on creation, being full powered and the entire posse reunited and they all have one purpose, deliver their oficial resignation letter.

You forgot armegedon blade

I liked that in Darksiders, each power you improved, it changed visually too. For example, Stoneskin that at level 1 War looks like a stone statue, but at the last level he looks like lava stone.

I like how they gave some of war’s moveset to death in the next game with a few new tweaks and moves for death

I love Darksiders. It needs to be continued.

Thanks for posting this. Darksiders doesn't have many moves, but I think it still has a pretty decent and fun combat system overall. It can't compete with action's greats, but that's ok, because it clearly is much more focused on the adventure part, and it's more of an action/adventure heavily inspired by Zelda and (to a lesser extent) Soul Reaver and God of War than a real, full-blown action game, heck even the bosses are actually more puzzles than real fights. Not a masterpiece by any means, but still a great game, just like the sequel, imo.

Yeah sure I'll finish them. But the only possible exception is GOW Ascension, it required a PS3 or a high end PC in order to play.

@sykioh and I have various ideas for future videos. Including the 3D Castlevania games, Astral Chain, and when I saw you do videos on FF16, it got me thinking that FF15 is a possibility. And maybe even Kingdom Hearts.

@sykioh well more accurately Castlevania Lament of Innocence, Curse of Darkness, Lords of Shadow 1 and 2, Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, 3, Birth by Sleep, and Dream Drop Distance. And one I neglected to mention Final Fantasy 0 or "Strangers to Paradise" as it is the proper name

Awesome vid, if you don't have anything next to do then you should do "Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks" it's a pretty simple moveset and pretty awesome.

TheBanbanGames made some moveset videos for each of the four campaign-playable characters some while ago. He does a LOT of video game movesets and goes in-depth with it, definitely recommend checking him out as well. He's done moveset videos for Ninja Gaiden 2 (don't know if it's the Sigma version), Lords of Shadow 1 and 2, the Darksiders games, Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death, Ghost Rider and others.

GOW 3 is half-done now, I'll try to finish it some time later. GOW3 is a special case comparing to other GOW games, I'm still trying to figure out better way to present the moves. What hindered me is the fixed camera, it's good for gameplay but not moveset recording friendly.
