From what I remember, the physical form of Darkseid is just his avatar. His true form, which is apparently the pure form of the energy, is probably closer to the same power level. The only problem from what I understand is that his true form is locked to the realm its in? Cool stuff, non the less.

If Darkseid and Galactus met, then they would surrender. The unstoppable force vs the immovable object. Darkseid does not wish to risk Apokolips, since it is his base of operations. Nor does Galactus want to waste time on something that does not benefit himself in ceasing his hunger. Darkseid is war and conquest. Galactus is hunger, pain in existing, and apathetic to those that does not pose a threat.

Invincible will never come here, Amazon strikes those comics. Sonic maybe, Transformers I dont read. We'll be starting with TMNT and Power Rangers in a week or two, seeif people want these other heroes

I think when Darkseid shoots Galactus with his omega beams, Galactus would turn to him and say "It's Morbin time." And then default dance on Apokolips destroying it instantly. And then grabs Darkseid between his cosmic cheeks and does the bun buster 5000 erasing him from existence.

The form of Darkseid that we see is actually an avatar of the real Darkseid. This means that Galactus could destroy Darkseid's avatar, but he wouldn't be able to actually destroy Darkseid.

It's not if apokolyps is in the 4rth world (dimension). The avatars are just the needed vessel for him, if he wants to enter the mortal's plane of existence cuz he is "to much to process" for the understanding of this reality n would just shatter it, if he enters it as a whole, thus he sends these avatars with a fraction of his power. In a way such an avatar should b compairable to the surfer. Who also is a vessel 4 a fraction of galactus' full power. His dimension's plane of existence is that, which also houses the christian n greek pantheons n underworlds and the realm that trigon is from. There he doesn't need to limit himself. It is the home turf of all gods n immortal demons. However, i think outside of marvels cosmos, it's power should b meaningless which means galactus would have none of his powers to shape reality by will or manipulate energy. Instead of the power cosmic, in dc's omniverse it is the omega effect, that's foundamation to these abilities. So without inexplainable plotammor n biassed writing, darkseid should actually b able to do whatever he is able to imagine with galactus. If that is not happening after ds teleported the whole planet into the marvel multiverse - then this story simply makes no sense within it's framework.

One important dfifference: Galactus is a force of nature, specifically entropy. He is NOT evil, he merely does what he has to to exist. It's been said and proven that Galactus DOES regret his actions, but he has little to no choice. (The penance stare of Ghost Rider wouldn't have affected him if he felt no sorrow or shame. Instead, it nearly KILLED Galactus)

This comic was written along time ago. Darkseid has been more powerful since this release.

A very well-fed Galactus is equal to Eternity in power according to Marvel. Wasn't sure how AM would scale to Eternity but, then again, DC is beyond ridiculous anyway.

This is my copy pasta for when people claim its not true form Darkseid. If the fight takes place on Apokolips which exists in the Sphere of the Gods, which resides outside of the DC Multiverse, then it is True Form Darkseid. When Darkseid is on his planet he is in his true form. The Sphere for DC goes Source Wall - Monitor Sphere - Limbo - Sphere of the Gods - Multiverse. Apokolips resides in the Sphere of the Gods which as stated would be where Darkseids True Form resides.

if their making crossover comics between Marvel and DC I’d say Darkseid would grow in size like he did against Trigon in the movie of Justice League Dark Apokalypae war if he grew in size he would be more of a challenge to Galactus by growing in size and fighting him

Id like to think Darkseid would be more noticeable to Galactus, though that wouldnt stop Galactus. I wonder how Darkseid would see Galactus. Anyone else from apokolips would probably see a very darkseid looking Galactus lol. Might even trick some to believing that Galactus would be the true Darkseid maybe lol. Galactus would probably destroy the avatar of Darkseid, being a cosmic entity and all but would probably actually respond to Darkseid. Darkseid could probably try an take the power cosmic for his own and then lose the battle, resulting in the true form of darkseid actually responding to something thats pretty much a cosmic force that absorbs anything around it on a large scale. Trying to recreate a new avatar and use the full power of the omega effect. Galactus would probably just leave in the end being unable to satisfy his hunger and powerful enough to just move on like nothing happened due to the conflict not lasting long enough and probably due to being at a higher concentration of power than what apokolips could throw at him for the duration of his visit. Kinda difficult to wrap your head on cosmic entities

What is frequently forgotten is that when a being travels to the 4th Dimension, it is automatically adjusted to fit the scale and power. This is why Superman is similar in size to Darkseid on Apocalypse and why he is able to face him, desite the latter being in his gigantic True form. Thus, when Galactus traveled to Apocalypse, his size and powers were also vastly amped, which is why he was able to defeat Darkseid. However, anywhere else Darkseid would easily beat Galactus, as his true form is far bigger than Galactus and far more powerful.

The first thing that I thought of is "true form" Darkseid. Who is, in theory, more powerful than even Galactus. Thing is comparing TF Darkseid to Galactus, is like comparing the Living Tribunal to Galactus, they're on a whole 'nother scale. TF Darkseid would have to be dealt with by the 1. The One above All, 2. the One Below All, 3. The Living Tribunal, and beings on THAT level. But, we're not talking about TF Darkseid here, we're talking, everyday walking around Darkseid, if TF Darkseid could destroy the universe, etc obviously there's a greater power or concept that stops him, so to bring up TF Darkseid isn't truly fair, for lack of a better way of saying it. Everyday Darkseid, while powerful in his own right, wouldn't stand a chance against Galactus

This storyline was actually non canon and for fun only. Actually the Apokolips Planet itself lies beyond the Multiverse. The planet is so big that regular universes are like small bubbles before it. So Galactus himself can never devour such planet because these planet which reside in God Sphere are much larger than Galactus and anything Galactus has seen in his life. Apokolips lie beyond Cosmos.. actually Darkseid can just squeeze Galactus in his palms, just like in the video game Injustice 2 supermove.. 😎

But Darkseid is beyond a multiverse. And Darkseid And Galactus are never of same size. You should check out The Dark crisis series and know about how actually powerful is the true form of Darkseid.

@@manabsenapati3996 Darkseid Is a Fundamental Force of Nature and therefore can't really be destroyed, Multiversal and Abstracta beings in DC and Marvel tend to be very similar to each other including power, its noted that no New God can really kill him because that could reset DC's entire Multiverse.(Darkseid in his True form is really Comparable most Beings similar to him which are beings like Eternity.) Fully feed Galactus (who can Eat Marvel's Multiverse BTW) and True form Darkseid are on par so the fight really depends on how feed Galactus is or how Darkseid is currently.

I almost forgot n52 Darkseid was breaching thr multiverse literally if you check out JL dark he nearly grabs Constantine with his hand literally reaching from earth 2's universe to the prime universe but due to a spell Constantine avoids it barely lol 😆 Darkseid also was blowing up earths around the multiverse with his omega beams like they were moons lol and casually killed Supermans across the multiverse like nothing. They made DS kind of OP during new 52 run haha It really depends on which version of Darkseid current greatest darkness powered took pur characters far more op than galactus lol but normal Darkseid would probably lose to galactus.

The problem with is DarkSeid is a multiversal being. Every different dc universe has a darkseid that is a avatar for the true darkseid that exist outside the multiverse. And each avatar is a fraction of the true darkseid's power. We see galactus comes at a version of darkseid in one of the many multiversal versions. Galactus wasnt able to full beat a avatar darkseid. It really doesnt showcase darkseid could not beat Galactus. If it was the real darkseid which is to vast to exist in the multiverse. I mean the guy fell on the multiverse. Its possible the Omega effect which is at was at a fraction now being full power would actually do something. Even darkseid existed at the beginning of the dc universe the same as galactus did in marvel.

This "fight" is horribly unbalanced. They've pitted Galactus against a Darkseid avatar. A being like Galactus definitely requires Darkseid's True and undivided attention. Though, after seeing what Galactus did to Dormammu, I'm not sure that the end wouldn't have been the same.

Why do so many people keep mentioning true form Darkseid when 99% of the time we see Darkseid it's the avatars. People always like to bring up the true form whenever Darkseid doesn't win a fight despite the fact that in the 2 time when you could say his true form appeared he got beat

I don’t like u give galactose full origins but not darkside not telling people that’s not his true form or tell dark side is darkness it’s self In his true form the darkside we is like sliver surface cause the real dark side can’t step a foot in our universe
