That's what happens if you have a long history of comic books. There is a need to keep escalating, and sometimes you have to climax by defeating '(one of) the strongest villains' or introducing some new even stronger villain. Problem is, if you do that too much, you end up demystifying certain characters or go on a path of uncontrollable power inflation of new characters where it just becomes rediculous.

Ghost rider one is the most memorable one of my childhood memories as a child. It was like a moment how Captain America use the hammer to knock Thanos.

Galactus was defeated by Rom. The Spaceknight struck a deal where Galactus would spare Galador if Rom showed him another world he could consume. Rom led him to Wraithworld, which fed on Galactus instead of the other way around.

K-Alpha doubt it’ll be any Fox property. Fingers said they already have and plan to use their phase 4 scrip before the merger. At best I think we’ll get hints to Doom or Galactus. I still think phase 4 will be multiversial as hinted in Endgame and will introduce a super villain team and the Beyonders

When you realize the fact if galactus does not eat planets the universe is in serious trouble because it will be overrun with cosmic beings and everybody will be screwed

what about Aegis and Tenebrous? they're elders of the universe like Galactus, they beat him during the Annihilation saga and Annihilus drained 95% of his energy then there's the Cancerverse, which defeated their own version of Galactus and turned him into a giant ship

Also, I removed that when Galactus actually died, possibly from eating that impossible planet in this case, his death actually caused a much greater threat to emerge due to some strange galactic Eco system balancing or something. It was so bad the Heros had to resurrect Galactus in order to stop it.
