Darkpsy Percussion 01: Simple Hi-Hats Workflow

Музыка

Trying to keep these as beginner-friendly as possible :) This video goes over my process for creating drum racks, as well as my workflow when it comes to sequencing seemingly "complex" hi hat patterns. Hope you enjoy! I will be making more videos about percussion within the next week, stay tuned!

Dude your tutorials are so great. Such useful advice every time, thank you. Please keep the percussion stuff coming it’s such an overlooked topic within Darkpsy and Forest tutorials on youtube.

Tip: Instead of clicking on each individual pad to map it to a macro, map 1 and then right click on the control you just set and select map to siblings.

There's a button to show automation above the track names on the upper-right side of the arrangement window! Next to the orange-colored lock button in the video. You can also just press the "A" key on your keyboard to show automation when your computer keyboard is disabled for MIDI input.
