Lew Tabakin and Ralph Lalama are the 2 I know who taught it a lot, but I wouldn't doubt it goes back further! This is The Boston Sax Shop S-Series 7*. I recently got it back out and I've been enjoying how it records

Did you know for the people where you set your ligature can make a difference It you have it set on the bottom where the screws are on the read you'll get a more dark tone and if you have it on top of the mouthpiece you'll get a brighter tone.

Is there a way to make the low G on tenor less blairy? It's the only note on this instrument I struggle with, especially coming down from middle D up.

I've been in two bands over fifteen years. I have recordings of them on KZread. Complete songs. I've recorded solo work and duo and trio work with other pro musicians..I have like around 100 views on my videos...this kid is telling us how to warm up a horn and he has nearly 5000 views. Somebody explain this to me.

well I'm not a kid, I play professionally 🤔 but its all about knowing your audience and providing value. Musicians used to get by just by playing, but nowadays anyone can play.
