Smoking is not forbidden in Quran. Therefore not forbidden in Islam.

In the Quran anything that is wasteful and harmful to humans is forbidden...people who smoke waste their funds on a product that is harmful to them in the long run.

If u drink too much water u can drown in it which is unbelievable when I find that out. We all now seeing food is an addiction n people r addicted with food n it’s super harmful.

@@MEgat-eh6efthat's far too ambiguous. ALLAH commanded the Earth to grow tobacco and marijuana, and then didn't give even a single ruling against it. Smoking is not haram like drinking alcohol or eating swine is.

@@jaqua7732 There are different school of thoughts indeed, but even the staunchest atheist will admit inhaling toxic smoke into the the body does not do wonders to your lungs etc. All these earthly pleasures does not last long. If Allah states this world is a place to test us and that Jannah is better and everlasting where we can have anything that the heart desires, I do wonder why we prefer the life of this world with its temporary earthly pleasures. To each his or her own. Wallahua'lam.

Islam is flawed in so many ways. Take for example the discussion on family over society. What is a society? Is it not a set of families? If each cares for their family the society will automatically take care of itself.

Typically in believing Christian households, with Christ as the centre, love, forgiveness, compassion, understanding and such are hallmarks of a family...and thus extends to a community.

@@naushad5139i hope you understand that all western societies are built on the judeoChristian teachings in the Bible. Do you know God had commanded that certain cities be termed as cities of refuge. We have those on America even today. Constitutions of westerm nations are based on the Bible. That is why the freedoms you have here you do not in Islamic countries. Your ability to think, reason, express, debate, protest, caring for elderly, orphans, refugees are all given based on the Bible.

The discussion is on justice. It’s a globally accepted principle that justice should not be affected by favourism or bias. A person is not considered apt for a decision if he/she is in any way connected to one of the parties. A fair and just system always demands decisions based on facts, truth and in all fairness, without being affected by any favour or bias based on relationship or any other connection/interest.
