@TheDailyMuslims I noticed while listening to the podcast that brother ’Uthman ibn Farooq made a mistake reciting the end of Ayah 11 in Surah ash-Shuraa, it supposed to be: He mentioned @ 42:25-42:27 ۚ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِۦ شَىْءٌ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ *عَلِيمٌ* _’Ālim_ [Knowing/All Knowing] This is incorrect! ❌ that’s not what’s mentioned in the Ayah! It supposed to be: ۚ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِۦ شَىْءٌ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ *ٱلْبَصِيرُ* _Āl-Bāsir_ [The Seeing/All-Seeing] This is ✅ *DjazaakumAllahu Khayran* *BārākĀllāhu Feekum* for your understanding 🤲🏽

As a revert who grew up in gang culture and spent 10 years of my life in prison, Shiekh uthman really helped me understand the beauty of Islam and become Muslim after spending most of my life as a Christian. May Allah bless him and guide many others to the one truth of Islam. Ameen

I'm Persian, and my best friend growing up is Egyptian, and we were raised in Los Angeles. I was also a graffiti writer, and my Egyptian friend as well, but he ended up getting into a hood, and he became a Sureno like Shiekh was. I was actually a good graff writer, and was in one of the best graffiti crews in L.A., but Alhamdulillah we both got back into the deen, and instead of doing illegal graffiti, we went to school for art, and finally got into university with a with a degree in art. I know exactly the lifestyle Shiekh had, we grew up in a time were graffiti, tag banging, and gangs was cool, and the norm. Growing up like that, we know what mini wars like, with all the violence we saw. Also in this life of the streets, you don't see Persians, Egyptians, and Pashtuns in it. I can really relate with Shiekh on so many levels.

There is never going to be a moment when you fully accept something, rules are not supposed to be something we actually love with our heart. We can understand them and eventually follow them. But regardless these rules are made to accomplish beyond your understanding and love for it. It’s Allah commandement it’s for him and the best choice for us, because Allah beyond our understanding have the highest and best interest for us.

What Sheikh Uthman said about the earth axis turning, my physics teacher told me 2018-2019 subhanallah. I think he told it has to do with the magnetic field of the earth. May allah help us stay strong and protect us.

Salam alaikum. Just a random brother's advice: I personally prefer a more casual setting rather than a special studio. I think it fits the conversations better and I think the studio looks out of place in light of the stories told. A more homely setting instantly looks more inviting. Just a couch or two and a cup of tea is perfect. Barak Allahu feekum.
