this song really grows on you. especially with the clean vocals. I really wish Mikael would do those more often. he's got such a great singing voice.

Words can't even come close to describing how incredible this song is. All the different elements work so brilliantly together to create such a powerful, moody ,incredible atmosphere. The pace is awesome, the melody is awesome, the lyrics are awesome, the chorus is amazing, this song is seriously good.

Almost a decade later and I agree. Construct is one of DT's classic albums that I think is underrated compared to their other ones. They went with quality over quantity here

Construct was the album that finally combined everything the band did previously. The melody of The Gallery, the atmosphere of Projector, the intensity of Character. It's perhaps the album that best describes the band in one complete package.

What an amazing band, not a single bad album.

DT is the band that pioneered clean vocals in melodic death.

Last minute is an instrumental masterpiece

Really beautiful melodies in this song. The riffing suits Mikael's growls and the ending melody is really something - i wish they had it going for some more time. Great song!

its nice to see how much this band has evolved in these years. my all time favorite albums of them are skydancer, haven and fiction.

Saw them live with Mnemic, Hypocrisy and Soilwork. One of the most flawless live performances I've ever seen.

The keyboard remember me Mass Effect a lot. Love it.

Both Paradise Lost and DT started the same year if i'm not mistaken ('88 or '89), and they're recognised as some of the most influential bands in their genre.

I would REALLY love to see this band... This new album is excellent, by the way...

I absolutely adore the whole album... amazing!

This song is amazing, is so perfect... This album is by far the best of 2013, one of my favorite works from Dark Tranquillity. I don't care if they have changed with the time, they are always doing a great work every album has something. This one in particular I love it.

When I dislike a new album from an old band I don't consider not being a fan anymore I just don't listen to that album and continue to listen to all the ones I do love. I'll still see them live and wait for more music Some of their so called fans are so easy to ditch em when they don't make the exact album they made years ago

Cant wait to see these guys in January!

amazing as always... i can't really decide which album is the best... there are my favourite songs on each one. but i absolutely love when he also began to sing clean.

Nothing this band does ceases to amaze me.

Wow Nickelback have really gone in an interesting direction with this one. Seriously though, I like it. I haven't listened to these guys in over a decade. Holy fuck I'm in my mid thirties, where does the time go.

You can tell that DT really spent a lot of time thinking about these new song. There's a lot of soul searching that has been done here and it is evident in the sound that they have produced. It might not be for everyone (I personally love it) but you could never accuse DT of compromising their sound. It's DT, there's no apologies, no promises, just a bunch a guys that make music that makes sense to them. I totally respect and admire that. Definitely my favourite band of all time.

After all this years, they still kick in it!!!! Amazing. Congrats!!!

For me, this is certainly one of the best songs by Tranquillity! Awsome lyrics as well! I possess the full CONSTRUCT album!

I dare to say it's one of the best videos and songs from DARK TRANQUILLITY !!!

I think DT have paid their dues. They can make whatever kind of sounding songs they want and I think I would listen to them. When you've consistently made solid albums for as long as they have, you can pull it off.

Now everyone is a damn critic about vocals... people commenting about "bad screaming" vocals know nothing about DT Do I have to say "Melodic death metal"? God...

Maybe 'cause clean vocals in the harsh parts would ruin the song atmosphere? Welcome to death metal.

What an awesome, emotional song! I love this song! This song is one of classic of the DT.

You have no choice, but to capitulate yourself to this alluring song.

Obviously great musicians & great lyrics but I just don't understand why screaming at the top of your lungs through almost the whole song is necessary ... I just don't understand the apeal for this type of metal .

Also, I also don't understand why poppy ass pop star wannabes sing clean vocals THE WHOLE song. *rolls eyes* You don't understand the appeal? That's your problem, not who does, be them 100.000.000 people or one. Once you figure this out and start you day with a more open mind, you'll see not only that everyone is possible and WHY it is so.

It isn't really screaming. It is called "death growls". There is talent and technique behind it. If it was actually screaming most death metal vocalists would of destroyed their voice long ago. It is somewhat an acquired taste. Heavy music and harsh vocals fit well together. I personally enjoy vocalists the most that are able to transition from growls to melodic singing. Thus one of the reasons why melodic death metal is my favorite sub genre of metal by far. Stu Block from Into Eternity is one of my favorite metal vocalists as his vocal range is incredible. He can go from death growls to high pitched 80s style metal vocals. Glad you gave it a chance though and acknowledge the musical talent, most people just immediately dismiss it as a "wall of noise" with some dude screaming.

Since some other metalheads are setting a bad example, I will try to help you understand. This extreme vocal technique, call it what you like, growling or screaming, helps to convey certain emotions such as anger, hatred or even fear. Some artists also enjoy the sound of it, which is another reason for it to be included in their music. It is definitely an acquired taste and not everybody will be able to enjoy it. Perhaps you may someday enjoy this vocal style, perhaps you will not. Either way, I respect your opinion. I feel I have not explained this very well so please forgive me.

The style changes but somehow the band is still able to keep its heart thats been there since the beginning. All the albums are still able to evoke awesome emotions.

What a stunning composition. I haven't been this excited about DT since I first discovered them 8 or 9 years ago.

He left as he wasn't comfortable being a bassist, he's a guitarist at heart. He's an awesome dude, worked on a lot of awesome albums.

This is the best song of not only Construct album, but also Dark Tranquillity band.
