I dont understand why they changed the fire effect of Obsidian GS and every chaos weapons; they looks like normal fire now, but chaos weapons used to have a reddish fire effect, and Obsidian GS used to release black flames.

From what I understand they just run a program for the whole game to change most effects simultaneously without giving much effort into recreating every single effect separately. This is why many Spells, Miracles and Pyros and weapon effects are now the same. The scanning process of the program just made them smaller/bigger variations of the same effect (Someone explained it better in the Cut Content vid comment sections) Lazy as fuck.

Zanemob Everyone does. It basically just reduces your pool of possible attacks by 1 because you never want to use it as it reduces your damage, costs souls (repair) and you want to kinda save the use for when you need it. Halfing the durability cost would be great.

@@amperize You don't have to buy estus and you can recharge estus at bonfires which you can't do with RepPow, and of course not having FP doesn't make your weapon useless. I understand what you're going for, but it really doesn't work. FP for the win though.

I can appreciate the amount of effort you put into this one 8min video. They do look and sound very good

You know what bums me out, they make all these awesome amazing weapons in the Souls series, that i want to play with and get but then the best weapons always turns out to be a shitty lame boring sword or piss ass small axe or some lame common bullshit infused with lightning.

Dark Silver Tracer has an aftereffect similar to the Gold Tracer now.

the one thing that was made great, effects Quelaag's cool fire sword is a must now

Really liking Quelaag's Furysword, gonna fit my pyromancy build perfectly. Using the basic pyro set atm, spider shield and uchikatana+10, adding this one to the list....next to the Great Scythe (don't have that yet). May change to Gold-Hemmed Black Set when I got it. As long as I still fast roll ofc.

It's actually quite a useful skill, with a VERY long range. I think everyone should try to kill Kalamit with this spear :)

Why no silver tracer? It has the best effect imo Can't be more stylish then parrying someone with that blue trail

they should release a patch for the obby gs r2 to make it actual black flame like kalameets. The other effects like pretty good.

Havel's Great Shield? It increases poise for a couple seconds.

What happened to your all pyromancies/miracles/sorcery videos?

Dragon Greatsword and Dragon Sword wind slashes have the same effect, only smaller for the sword.

I'm not going to lie as much as I love Dark Souls 1 I always felt the Dark Souls II was the better successor even if 3 and yes I understand even though Dark Souls II didn't do its best to some people I do feel that it is the better game I really do hope if they ever take the time to remaster a remake Dark Souls 2 alongside one properly if they do one as a remake and a Long Dark Souls 2 I would still rather play Dark Souls 2 compared to 1 I'm sorry to say everything is so unbalanced in the game and the only fun weapon I feel better the most effective are the heavy weapons on like the light weapons

FromSoftware had nothing to do with the Remastered. They are busy with the new project. Bandai Namco hired Qloc and Virtuos studios to remaster the game and this is why it is that mediocre.

I'm not saying you should or shouldn't buy it, but remasters don't have the job of changing gameplay, especially when done by an outside studio. They just exist to increase graphical fidelity/performance.

IT's still a very old game and charging 40 dollars (or 20 dollars for those who already owned Prepare to Die Edition) is very stupid for how little they changed. Most of the people LOVED Prepare to die edition because you did not need a great computer to rule it, these new graphics might affect that aspect Skyrim offered their remaster FREE to those who owned the game, these scumbags make us pay for it

Well, the remaster runs much better, and it's not fair to hold 3rd party mods against them. I couldn't run DS:PtD very well on my laptop, even with DSFix, but I get a constant 60 on the remaster with better graphics. For me, it was worth the extra $20. I also really like the reworked particles and lighting. It's not a purchase for everyone, and I won't pretend it was, but it was a great one for me. (It's also the only way to play on current gen consoles, but no one complains about those versions.) EDIT: I also personally don't mind playing because it was contracted to a third party. I'm all against anti-consumer practices, but I wouldn't want people to go unpayed for their job because I had already bought something they never even worked on.

I don't undestand why people didn't liked the remastered version. The weapon's effects, bonfire and magics are much better than the original version. For example: The bonfire's effects of the original version is so weird, looks like a stoped flame and didn't have smoke. But in the remastered, actually is a fire with smoke effects.

Kalameet's weapon effect is trash

I know some people are riled up about the Obsidian Greatsword, but I personally prefer it. I think everyone just needs to step back and acknowledge that everyone has different opinions on the remaster instead of asserting opinion as fact.

Stone "greataxe" you mean hammer right? You know, because last I checked, an axe is sharp and a hammer is blunt.

already gona warn people, its not all weapon effects or special weapons (Dragon Fists, Dark Silver Tracer and others missing), the videomaker was too incompetent to include text on what an effect does and was unable to properly show some effects like the Golem Axe because somehow its too hard to aim higher. All in all, a pointless video not delivering.
