It literally took me 12 straight hours to beat slave knight Gael Last knight, for some reason I just could not seem to get his timing right when he went to phase 3. After playing all night long I beat him at about 5:00 am this morning and it felt so good. That's why I love Dark Souls and other from soft games because they never just hand it to you if I did not play that over and over again until I mastered it I just wouldn't achieve it there is no easy way. I love that

yeah honestly FromSoft has cost themselves a ton of money by not adding an easy mode to their games and I respect the hell out of them for that

2:47 i wanna see that playthrough, even though i have watched many, many playthroughs on youtube and twitch...and playing it myself i think it may be a one of a kind playthrough.

Demons Souls and Dark Souls, imo, two of the most well made and most immersive titles of this generation. Big ups to From Software!!

I just want to say to FROM SOFTWARE from my heart that i love there games after playing Demon Souls i really do enjoy of what they put into it.There different from other companies and are one of a kind that should never go away.I cant wait for Bloodborne to come to the PS4.I hope to see more games from this company as they care more for the gamers and we appreciate for what they put into them.I care alot for this company and there time and effort is never a waist.

I respect other opinions as it’s what I expect although never get in return but when I see people hating on these games i’m just thinking to myself “sucks to be you” once I first started Bloodborne I was like how did I miss this masterpiece which eventually led me to play the DS series and everything fell into place.

one of my favorite game developers, after dark souls they've gotten someone who will buy any game of theirs.

I know they're hiding the final bosses in that building somewhere, and I won't rest until they come clean!

This is why I've always said that the Japanese are the greatest game developers in the world........ They created gaming, they'll always know what's best for gaming. Demon Souls/Dark Souls are proof of that.

Congrats to Miyazaki and the guys at FromSoft for sticking to what they believed in for all those years. I'm glad to see them getting the recognition they always deserved for every project they dropped.

I mean, From Software as a company is a game franchise. They all have the same backbone and structure. Bon fires, flasks, stamina, and souls. So you can’t say you didn’t just copy the formula from Demon Souls. Cause you did. Which is great. Cause the formula is really good. It’s the Krabby Pattie in the gaming industry. You just alter the toppings for each brand name. You got your classic medieval dungeons and dragons flavor, Sweeney Todd blood bath or Halloween flavor, kung fu martial arts flavor, and now open world like a Rockstar Game flavor. All outstanding games!

SeanDS89 Not true for every japanese developer. Capcom's RE teams copy a lot from West. And open-world games from the West have hit Nintendo, Sony, Square Enix, etc. From Software is one of a kind and stick to old school.

Just like anywhere else, what's extremely good is an exception. Exceptions don't excuse general truths. Sure, a lot of good games come from Japan. But the same can be true about shitty copy paste anime games, which polarize the market way more than games like dark souls which try to break the mold.
