Bed of Chaos, for no good reason, has 4 HP. If you do s rolling unarmed punch and do 3 damage, you can actually manage to 2-shot it, which is somehow harder than the 1-shot

Well, there is a reason, kinda. One witch is the main body you fight. Two more are added during the fight. And the core, aka the bed, is another entity. 4 entities, 4 HP.

@@KaroxNightshade Often, especially in older games, you tend to avoid 1hp value since it's often reserved for special states. As to why not 2 and 3? Maybe some engine difficulties for a shared healthbar when there are multiple enities or just engine itself couldn't handle max health value lower than 4

Dude, I'm in love with the video editing here. The little title card before every kill is so cool, and I imagine took WAY to long to make for how short they ended up being, but they're definitely worth how easy it makes following along the video, not mention just look professional as hell.

It neatly informs the viewer of the requirements to one shot each foe. You could put all of the 'cards' in a document and call it the best 1-shot tutorial in the world. Well done

47:00 that's actually sick as fuck. Dude jumps at you with his flaming sword and you just kneel before the king, and then blast him with an apocalyptic firestorm, to show who's actually the lord of flames. I love it

This is the most thorough dark souls challenge I’ve ever seen. Always checking SL after a kill, the preview of all weapons, and an overview of the enemies HP and the buffs you’re using… absolutely above and beyond! Incredible!

Yeah One shotting the last few NPCs with only 400 health was just too redundant, I could care less about winning a contest I wasn't officially a part of lol, Especially when everyone else was leveling up to nearly 100 and I wanted to stay Level 1 as usual.

I really hope vegeta311 sees this video! Loved watching the guy and do runs like his back in the day, good memories. I remember him saying at some point that technically a lvl 3 sorcerer is a harder run than a level 1 pyromancer due to the innate stats a sorcerer gets. Might be a fun idea for another low level one shot challenge, though I assume a lot of it would be dependent on pyromancy as well. Love your content, keep it up man!

Well, duh, you can boost pyromancy to the fullest without levelling up, while sorcery is doomed, there’s nothing to artificially boost your intelligence like in later entries.

This deserves way more views than it has, it's not only great gameplay but a very well-produced video too. Cheers!

As someone who first entered the world of DS in 2020 all these challenge runs are still very new to me.... and holy sh*t bro what did I just witness!? Ive heard of people one-shotting bosses, but I've never watched someone actually do it. I didnt really believe it was possible. This is truly some of the wildest stuff I've ever seen in gaming. Honestly, i don't know where to start to comment this. I played through DS1 a few times many years ago (got to NG+++ or so and got Platinum). Since then i played through DS2/3 a few times and watched A LOT of challenge runs, especially on DS1. While there are many that are really impressive i have to say i have never seen something like this. The least thing to mention is the editing, and while this might sound bad, it's still WAY ahead. Perfect cuts and always showing the weapon and enemy stats etc is already top tier. The run itself...while i don't have that much practical experience, i have a lot of knowledge of what can be done. And this...i don't want to know how much effort went into this. It's absolutely insane imho. I will save this video and surely watch it every now and then, because i think it's nearly perfect in terms of how much you can "break" DS1. Hats off to you, Sir!

At first I was like "wait, this is practically impossible, manus exists. I did this back then and the only way to oneshot manus is to sacrifice children to him". Then I saw you allowed everything and I understood why and how you did it. Incredibly impressive, though. The video editing also is top notch, plus the infographics shown make it very easy to follow for those who don't know the game like the back of their hands.

This setup doesn’t need levelling that’s the thing, level 1 or 700, the damage is the same, the only thing that scales is the pyromancy flame, and it scales through upgrades, not levels.

This guy has that red electric box, and darn it, he's going to use it! Since the run was inspired by Backlogs, which is full glitchless, I'm not too keen on the weapon swaps kills, but it's just showing one shots, and with fewer levels than the challenge allows so whatever. Neat job. Hopefully someday someone will map out Fire Tempest's pillars locations, somewhere that X boss will always get hit by 3 of them.

With the stat break down each substantial kill and everything good job all the hard work made a die video edit
