Rookie 300 health? Oh I thought that it only gave you an extremely negligible in comparison to what say the Child Mask gives you. Either way, though, as you said fuck that mask when it comes to the fashion souls.

+Rookie Not that much of one. More like 60-150HP, depending on how much vitality you have. Child's Mask is generally better, since it gives you a significant boost to stamina regen (which helps you all the time, and allows you to use a shield other than the Grass Crest Shield without losing the bonus stamina regen), and Father's Mask can let you meet the fast/mid roll thresholds while getting better armor/more poise out of the deal.

Your gaming setup looks like the Bed of Chaos.

Isaiah Ziegler You are half right. A moonlight sword (or at least a blue sword with some kinda of power) appear in every FROM game, way before the Souls series. It's a sort of trademark of the company.

Dark souls 1 pvp has the same vibe as two crackheads hitting each other with sticks in a parking lot. It's like neither of them wants to be hit with sticks, but they're doing it anyway.

Honestly, you can see shades of Bloodborne in the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, particularly with the Manus fight. Not only does Manus look like he could be in Bloodborne - his speedy moveset is rather similar to the creatures you find in the game. Given that Bloodborne's development began around the same time as AotA, I guess it's not a surprise.

Walamonga 1313 Nah man they're good! In the streams I've watched of DaS3 it became clear that backstabs aren't instant but it's weird. So it's kind of like DaS2 where you can walk out of a backstab but the player who tried to stab you will just do a regular R1 attack instead of grabbing at the air like an idiot. It's pretty much perfect if you ask me.

Also, i know that you had to have no poise as a gameplay mechanic similar to Bloodborne (and so you have to trade that with higher mobility) but the DWGR ruin it IMHO.

Much build variety in Dark Souls 1 ... yeah yeah. Anyway, awesome video. Pretty great adaption of the Bloodborne weapons. Love the fact that you purposely avoided backstabs, since they are near impossible to pull off in Bloodborne. @ 10:24 you went for a parry while wielding the Halberd which wouldnt be possible in Bloodborne though :P
