awesome run, thanks. i have a question. i noticed in this run and in another run done by someone else that you level dex to 39 rather than 40. why is that? i thought that 40 was the soft cap. i do notice that 38 to 39 adds 2 AR, while 39 to 40 only adds 1. is it just not worth the additional level?

Exactly, its literally not worthy firstly and also its a different patch so damage scaling is slightly different on 1.12 patch

Cause during running sections you want to stay at less than 30% weight ratio, so you roll further. During boss fights, Herald’s armor is the best, except Oceiros, during Oceiros boss fight you want to equip Assassins Hood and Chest, and Heralds Gloves and Pants to minimise damage from instant charge attack

He technically didn't go through the wall. He just made it so he got no fall damage when jumping down instead of using the ladder. I'm not sure if it counts as a glitch or not in that case.

you can see through the wall because of the character's position, but there is no clipping happening with the character itself. it's just a visual thing.

the runner explains immediately after the kill why this is not a glitch. if you stand in that exact position, lorian doesn't see you and so he won't attack you unless you hit him (lorian's hp bar never goes down bc the runner only ever hits lothric). lorian's AI is still active, unlike with AI breaks; the player is just taking advantage of how that AI works to give himself a free kill. this strategy is allowed within the rules of the glitchless category.
